We are in 10th place in the West and 3.5 games back of the 3rd seed, whom we play tonight.

In the East, the #10 team is 10.5 games back of the #3 team. Crazy how bunched up the West is.

Fox is also out tonight, so we get a good break there.

I know we're on a B2B but no Fox and the King favored by 1 on the road seems fishy.

I hope there's not intel that BI may rest.

Y'all, I think that the Warriors are toast. I don't think that they will finish in the top 10 in the West.

NY Post reporter:

Kyrie Irving has not decided yet whether he will suit up for the #Nets again and play or sit out the rest of the season if not moved by Thursday's trade deadline, according to a source familiar with the situation. But it is a nuclear option they say is being discussed.

A little concerned the Western teams are making moves for Kyrie and Durant. It sounds like Phoenix is trying hard to land Durant now.

Nets aren’t trading KD. If they would have taken a package of just bad salary and picks for Kyrie then I would think they were blowing it up, but getting what they did they’re looking to still compete

I'd go further than that. The fact that the deal took place today indicates that the Nets wanted to go ahead and get it done so that they could use some of the assets they just got to try for another trade.

Apparently Ja Morant's crew pointed a gun at Pacers staff.

According to the @TheAthletic, Acquaintances of Ja Morant aggressively confronted members of the Pacers traveling party and later someone in a slow-moving SUV — which Morant was riding in — trained a red laser on them ??

Being morant, probably a nerf gun or paintball gun at worst

Ja Morant is a wannabe thug who surrounds himself with thugs. That Memphis team is perfect for him.

Given he not so vaguely threatened to shoot someone on Twitter(and for some weird reason no one cared, not even the NBA) I think there's a chance Ja is going frick up in a big way at some point.

He obviously doesn't strike fear in anyone as some tough guy gangster but I think evidence is mounting that there is at least some chance that he thinks he is and is running with a crew that may actually be.

Yeah, he has an easy path to be a face of the league, but it keeps looking like he is regularly not choosing the easy path.

This but so far, it seems no one cares and continues to ignore these things.

This could or should potentially be a huge deal, obviously only if it were actually a gun. Even if he didn't do it, it's monumentally stupid to put yourself in that position and run with that type of crew.

For his sake, hopefully it was overblown. Worst case scenario may actually be it really happened but can't be proven, because then he may not learn from it and think he's untouchable.

DFS and Dinwiddie are about $32m in salary between them but they can’t be packaged directly with any other Nets players in a trade if it is considered a non-simultaneous trade.

Considering Brooklyn has dick for future assets (their own swaps and some far future Mavs picks), any move they make is likely bringing in different supporting players or doing a fire sale on anyone not named Durant.

Ja is going to be Derrick Rose.
