I've seen some say the Suns staff isn't the best, they just have the best PR. Probably jealous haters from other staffs, but if that's even partly true, how does a Medical Staff that's proactive with PR fit in the organizational culture?
It's the polar opposite of Saints culture. That in itself would be a big signal of change.

Aaron Nelson serves as the Suns' Senior Vice President of Athlete Health & Performance and is in his 19th season as the Suns' Head Athletic Trainer, only the second in team history.
Nelson, who was the second youngest head athletic trainer in the NBA when he was promoted, was originally hired as the Suns’ Assistant Athletic Trainer in 1993. He and his staff have built the Suns into an industry leader with a reputation for prolonging the careers of some of the game’s best. Included in his role are the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, athlete performance enhancement and recovery, and assisting in the travel operations of the team. Nelson, who was named the Joe O’Toole NBA Athletic Trainer of the Year by the National Basketball Athletic Trainers Association for 2009, is certified and licensed as an athletic trainer, performance enhancement specialist (PES) and corrective exercise specialist (CES). He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Arizona Athletic Trainers Association (AZATA) and National Basketball Athletic Trainers Association (NBATA). In the Spring of 2010, Nelson was appointed by Arizona’s former Governor, Jan Brewer, to serve on the Arizona Board of Athletic Training where he served his final two years as Chairman, before fulfilling his obligation in 2015. Nelson served as the athletic trainer for the USA Basketball Men’s Select Team that helped prepare the 2007 USA Senior National Team for the FIBA Americas Championship in Las Vegas.

The Suns staff's reputation is probably enough to get players at least paying attention, especially older vets.
It won't be a deciding factor, but some players will definitely keep it in mind, and its about more than that.
It is about showing they are serious, and establishing a culture of excellence at all levels of the org.

Damn he's been there 19 years. Would be quite the coup to steal him away.

Griffin isn’t playing JFC wow. I’m glad he’s living up to my expectations.

Is this what it feels like to have a real basketball team? I'm not sure how to process all this.

This is great news but would him coming over be a lateral move? If he's been there 19 years he's likely established some roots so what benefit would it be for him to accept the same position with a different organization?

I'm sure the opportunity to no longer have to work for Robert Sarver has to be at least somewhat appealing.

I think many of you will be very pleased with one of the big overhauls coming in the next few months. Was atop his list of demands. Clue: Think back to his Phoenix days....

Oh, but I thought Crewz was a fraud??!!?

Hey, let's keep this about basketball. Calling Crewz a fraud is childish and a bullying tactic and not true. Crewz is a very good writer and does have inside knowledge. His posts are thought provoking, insightful, and fun -- uh, wait -- Crewz, its you.
