It is a lot like the D Rob situation and the LeBron leaving Cleveland first time situation.

Without either of those things happening, which bummed the fan base out a lot at the time, a title would have never been possible

This is a start beyond even the most optimistic wildest dreams.

Utterly incredible. How could anyone not be impressed with Griffin.

This is wild. What a week.

He was big into analytics as well as GLeague and player development for the Nets.

Things we suck at.

It's Gayle.

Every POBO in the world would want an amazing staff. Gayle realized after she calmed down from The Jump dunking on us that it is necessary. I give her all the credit for looking in the mirror and saying, "Why aren't we giving this franchise the attention and resources we give the Saints?"

And she changed. Just in time

She’s a boss. I give her all the credit.

She realized what a joke this franchise became and is doing what is necessary. There’s still work to do but, Gayle:

Why is everybody acting like it is a surprise???

Someone on this board intimated it would happen weeks ago.

Go Pels.

I’m dumb when it comes to front office ins and outs. I don’t know a good hire from a bad hire.

Somebody educate me why this is a slam dunk hire to be excited about

Langdon was heavily into analytics and helped establish the GLeague and player development culture for Brooklyn.

He was Marks’s right hand man in Brooklyn and was considered instrumental in their rebuild and one of the up and coming FO guys in the league. He interviewed for GM jobs with the Pels and other teams.

I still disagree with the strength of this statement. We were a playoff team that won a series despite the loss of one of our top players. Health hasn’t been our friend lately. Change was needed though and it was timely.

Remember how the Nets traded away like all of their draft picks for a bunch of old dudes and then had a lot of money on the books and no way to rebuild? Sean Marks, with Trajan Langdon working with him, got them out of that festering shite heap and into the playoffs.

Well, you’d clearly be wrong. That isn’t even a question at this point. The league sentiment was we were a joke. And ADs sentiment was that as well, obviously.

But I don’t want to get into that anymore. The past is irrelevant.

This is about now and the future, and regardless of what happened in the past, Gayle is absolutely all in to create a first class organization. Agreed?
