I like the idea of adding D'Lo to the team but the only drawback is he plays literally no defense. We would also have to add a player like Cory Joseph as well, which I wouldn't be opposed to at all.

Which I don't really find all that much of an issue. A team is lucky if even two of it's starting 5 play above average defense. Most are average with a fair number being bad to really bad, ability-wise or just not giving a damn.

Like Steph Curry. He's nothing special on defense. Plays passing lanes decently well, but he couldn't get a stop if he drove down Manhattan.

He speaks fluent Russian. Has extensive connections in Europe, but especially in Italy and Russia.

If he can find a us a clone of Andrei Kirilenko, that would be great. With a lineup of the AK47 clone, Jrue, AD, and Zion, the Pels would absolutely crush the league record for blocked shots. Other teams simply wouldn't be able to score.

The Russians have this technology already... I'm sure of it

Well now that the GM issue is settled, let's proceed to the draft! Strange, I am now thinking AD stays...

I didn't like Langdon as the POBO. I like him as someone taking a more focused role under a more qualified POBO.

It's a downright brilliant move in fact. It allows his strengths to be magnified(culture building, scouting, instilling the vision of the organization) while allowing his weaknesses to be covered up because you have Griffin covering the structural parts of a front office(staffing, analytics, medical, training, trade negations etc.) that Langdon is not really qualified for yet.

Trajan Langdon podcast interview

Interview by European b-ball podcast if anyone is interested. Goes over Trajan playing career and transition to front office. He gives credit to success to David Griffin. Interview was in April so it’s pretty recent.
