When AD was playing with the Olympic team along with Boogie, Coach K said AD was the most talented player on the team.

Boston and LA seem to think they have a right to one of the best in the world. I think they way over value their offers.
Any chance the Pelicans deal with AD this summer, get him to commit to the 5th year and sign him to a Super max for the next 5. He probably does this if the Pelicans commit to Boogie. Retire a Pelican.

The only way you entertain offers is if he tells you he’s leaving

Definitely not trading AD unless he requests to be traded.

I don’t understand the blow it up mantra that so many people use these days. When AD was drafted I understood it was necessary to have realistic expectations for the franchise. Being a small market franchise, a championship is out of reach unless your front office is flawless, meaning hitting on draft picks and being frugal with contracts.

If you’re a small market team, you tank to get to where we are, so why trade away the greatest player in franchise history for a small chance that we get to the same point we are now in five years. If Davis leaves in a few years, I won’t be mad or upset; players are essentially handcuffed to a team for seven years, I wouldn’t blame anyone for wanting to see what else is out there. However, let’s just enjoy watching him while we have him.

Hear me out ..

Would you listen to offers for AD?

-often injured
-playing for 3rd in the West at best for the foreseeable future
-zero draft picks in 2018

If you would entertain offers.. What would it take?

If not, Why?

Would not entertain offers for AD plain and simple

I feel like our performance tonight without AD is enough to render this thread stupid.
