Saw where the NBA's best three pointer shooter
this year signed an extension with the Suns. The contract was around $80M over four years. Given Grayson Allen's contract I expect market around a $60M over three years for TM. Not bad but far less than expected by TD posters.

Without looking anything up and just going off of eye test, gut and my Naturally elite nba knowledge
Trey Murphy is about 7 years younger, 7 inches taller, has a foot longer wingspan, has a more explosive vertical, has deeper range, has upside to be more than a shooter, might be a significantly better human, etc.
I’m not sure we should be comparing Allen of Grayson with Trey Murphy the Third at all.

Cam Johnson is probably the appropriate comp. 4/94, take into consideration that Trey is going to be 2 years younger when he signs his deal, I don't really see it being below 4/100.

Yet Allen is probably the better basketball player.
Trey does have a lot of unteachable skills, but he needs to start putting it together more.

Umm, no. That would be incredibly friendly for the team but he is going to need more than that. You're not getting him for a Grayson Allen price. You also need to give him more than 3 years.

But you also have to factor in Trey’s goofy handles and inability to create anything of substance off the dribble. He’s a very tall athletic spot up shooter. Not much else.

Honestly it's why cam Johnson is the better comp, they play the same position.
