His attitude and desire to actually play on this team is so refreshing. The dude called Griff and asked not to be traded. I am all on board with keeping him, even if he is a bench guy.

Hes only getting paid 2 million this year but i can see him being good for team morale if anything. Hes also a really good player that was hampered by injury last year, can see him being the 2nd man off the bench

I mean I dont Think there is anyone in the 20s that’s a lock to shoot better from 3 pt line. Which is what we need and are probably hoping to get from Hart

This certainly says something about how highly we value him. I really have to wonder if, in certain lineups, he would work better at SF than Ingram would.

I really think that he's going to have to play SF to get minutes, because there really aren't enough guard minutes to go around. But he mainly played SF for the Lakers last year, so we know he can do it.

LA put him at the 4 at times last season also

That's part of the reason I think some of his stats fell off

It's funny because when I think of Hart I think of him as this 28 year old vet that's going to bring leadership to the locker room.

In reality he's a young 24 year old who can still get a lot better. He's my little sisters age and was born in 95. Crazy.

Josh Hart is already my 4th favorite pelican, maybe 3rd idk. Jrue and Kenny Hustle are 1/2. You want Josh Harts around with this much turnover. He’s a conduit between the current Pels and the new Pels from LA.

According to the Lakers subreddit, he's a very good post defender despite his size. His perimeter defense was bad and he had a bad habit of fouling 3-point shooters. Let him play the 2 on offense and guard 4s on defense and we should be good.

He’s a great defender, amazing leader, rebounder, team player. He shoot the 3 and control the ball. He’s smart.

Ive been a big fan of his. I think he can win a 6th man one day

He’s a phenom at post defense so I’m sure he can play some 3 or even 4 in certain situations.

Totally agree. I think he’s a guy who will stay in the league as a glue guy off the bench or a starter with minute restrictions

He’s an Eagle Scout, that’s the type of character you want around a franchise

There were a few shooters going in the 20’ who were a little bigger than him, but he’s definitely a safer bet to keep. Mfiondu Kabengele, Keldon Johnson, Dylan windler are 3 that could possibly fit better needs

Yeah and I think my point is how confident can anyone be that those three guys are going to be better pros? We st least somewhat know what we have with Hart.

I think The odds of getting a significantly better player are low in that range.

The odds of getting a marginally better player are probably equal to getting a worse player. Just no reason to take the risk.

I mean, this is really just an academic exercise, because we didn't want to draft any more guys this year anyway. Coaching and developing three rookies is enough, which is why we're stashing Silva and traded away our other 2nd-round pick.

I learned to appreciate him during a Villanova champ run.

I was very pleased pels got him in the deal.

Interesting parlay if you had dealt hart for Dylan windler who went mid 20s.

Windler is the real f'ing
deal.
6 8". 24 and 10.8

Love hart. Windler will be all star. Hart will be early bench and sometime injury replacement starter his whole career.
