Every team in the league goes through peaks and valleys unless you’re Boston or Milwaukee but we know how capable this squad is they just have to find it. We need to give BI a few games to get it back he was out for 2 months. The team needs to readjust to having him in the offense because it changes everything. The one issue I see that is holding us back is ball movement . We aren’t moving the ball around enough on offense. Too much iso ball or one pass and shoot. We are best attacking the basket and finding the open man with ball movement. Also, is it too much to ask to get more than 10 games with BOTH Zion and BI in the game?

Only Western teams that have been as bad or worst than the Pelicans in January are the Spurs and Rockets. Let that sink in.

Make no mistake, we've got serious problems all around this team. I'm not sure I can think of a single player that doesn't have some kind of glaring "hole" in his overall game, especially if you count "injury prone" as a hole. Usually, every team has at least a player or 2...that has a very solid all-around game. Not sure the Pels have a single player that is holeless (assuming that is a word)

The WORST teams in the league don’t go on 10-11 game losing streaks (which we are about to do)

Injuries or not, crap teams occasionally pick up wins… and we’re simply not doing that, in games that we should, like last night.

We are in deep shite and making excuses and giving the ‘its a long season’ bollocks, really is head in the sand stuff.

I think the reason is they just aren't playing hard enough. Other teams have picked up their intensity and the Pels are both not matching that, and they are wilting under the other team's pressure.

The team is just going to have to step up and take care of business. Especially with the long Mardi Gras road trip coming up.

If the team is healthy in the playoffs a deep run is realistic. Anything less than full strength spells quick doom.

Detroit, Indiana, Houston, San Antonio, OKC - all ACTIVELY tanking. All have won at least once in the last 10 days, some more than once.

We've won three times THIS MONTH and two of those were Houston and Detroit.

Since the 76ers game when we lost Zion, the Pels have been outrebounded in every game except 5, and those 5 positive rebounding efforts included all 3 wins.

Keep in mind that is with JV, who is 3rd in rebounds per 36 in the league. Larry is next on the team, coming in at 61st. (Billy would be in the top 10 if he had the minutes)

The issue is pretty clear...no one else on the team is a consistent rebounder, and we usually only have one rebounder on the floor at a time.

It might be one thing to construct the roster that way if the team shot the lights out and took care of the ball, but those are both still issues as well.

Well if you're going to play Murphy at the 4, you might want to ask to stop camping out in the corners all night
