But you shouldn't have any hope CURRENTLY, so what's the difference?
Again, you guys should get out now. Being a fan of this franchise will be nothing but suffering. You are lying to yourself if you think otherwise. Regardless of what path they take

Its a weird comparison, but I see Davis a lot like Iverson. They are totally different players. But both have/had freakish talent, great offensive skills, lazy but spectacular defensive ability and no idea where they should fit on the court. Iverson could have been all an time great PG, but scoring came so easy. He won games, but the team couldn't overcome having a 5'10 SG. It took a patient GM and a legendary coach to finally fit the pieces around him to find some success. But it was short lived. I always just see Iverson as a what could have been. I feel the same way about Davis. He just needs the right structure and someone to show him the way..

Totally agree. Boogie has influenced AD WAY more than the other way around.
Why I don't really care if the team loses one. Or both of those guys. And I don't get why others are so terrified of that prospect either

For the first time in a long time I have no real interest in this team. Gentry has to go. This shite isn't funny anymore. It's almost as if the Pelicans do not care about their fans.

Saints are playing in the divisional round of the playoffs. They certainly don’t give two shits right now.

Last year, even though we sucked, it was fun to watch buddy Hield improve and grow. The ceiling was low but I think we all enjoyed just watching potential, something we didn't get to see in the Demps era aside from AD.
The reality is, I don't care to watch because your core 3 are locked in and the team is simply not going to grow and improve unless something drastic occurs. You see the flaws of this team and its not something you get better with in time, not with old vets. Maybe defensively we improve with hill, but decision making with cousins and holiday will never improve because it's just who they are this far into their careers. The ceiling for this team is set and there's no "growth" potential which makes watching them boring. Same mistakes that cost us early in the year are still occurring 40 games into the season, that sample size is large enough to tell us it's not changing with this current roster and coaching.

Can you imagine if we didn't make the Cousins trade. We let Holiday walk, draft Donovan Mitchell, get Anderson back from Houston (Houston be worse having Melo), could have signed a great free agent like Milsap. That is a fun team..

Wait - you posted this yesterday. I want to know when you honestly thought it WASN'T a bad situation.
It was bad since Gentry was hired. 2 years ago people were screaming for a change. Last year, we were literally like "Ok, Benson cleary doesn't give a frick about the Pels..."
But today you say "This is a bad, bad situation..."

I didn't know the timestamp on Tigerdroppings was equal to when my feelings started.

Ownership DGAF. Nothing will change until the Benson family sells out.
