They should be more honest and upfront about Zion.

The Pelicans should be more open on why Zion is not playing. They tell us two weeks then another two weeks, then another two weeks, and another two weeks . The excuse is getting tired some now. Fans deserve more. They are paying good money to see Zion play not sit on bench. We deserve more than 2 sentences printed off MS Word.

They have been, they told you exactly what went on.

It’s not the teams fault you choose to ignore what they tell you.

Or he just needs to grow some balls and fricking play. No one is 100% this time of year and this franchise can’t afford to miss the playoffs.

Whether it’s the training staff holding him back or he’s just being a bitch it is just comedy at this point

You don’t play through a hamstring strain.

Ask KD how that works out.

He was out with a hamstring strain. He was getting scans done and the team told everyone when those scans would take place. He later reaggravated it while ramping up on the court work. He is out indefinitely right now.

What more are you looking for?

This. It HAS to heal completely or you'll be right back on the bench. In retrospect, he probably got back on the practice court too quickly which is why it was reaggravated.

It doesn’t matter. Even if he plays next week, it’ll take a month plus to get him back in game shape. It’s too late.

What have they been telling us? Windhorst seems to think it’s his weight again not his hamstring.

Bait them with the hamstring. How is that going?

Not to mention the head coach is quoting Dennis Allen now. What a cluster of a situation.

Yeah I just read the Graf post. He nailed it perfectly. J.J. Reddick is right about this organization too.

This team is run by a bunch of snake oil car salesmen.

The Graf quote was not correct. Graf never said anything about "working for the team."

Cant say I can remember a instance in sports where someone played through a hamstring pull where it wasn't an elimination playoff game or something to that effect and they were just playing until they couldn't anymore. (feel like I remember zeke doing this one time). Think Booker did it for a game in the playoffs and then missed a bunch of time after that.

Do you remember anytime where some guy just sucked it up and played through a hamstring injury?

It also is compounded by the fact you cant really do much other than ride a bike with a hamstring, and if you have weight issues, that's a huge problem. Zion is responsible for some of this aspect; however I think a lot of you guys are just unrealistic.

What similar comps do we have here with a similar sized athlete and a hamstring pull ?

When the injury happened they told you in 3 weeks they would re-evaluate him. After the three weeks they told you healing was going as expected and he would start light work and be re-evaluated in 2 weeks. They even put out videos of him doing sprints at this time.

2 weeks later they told you he was doing 3 on 3 court work when the setback happened and that he would miss a few weeks. Shams said don’t expect him back before mid-march at the earliest.

What more information do you want?

This is just to gain clicks, you can see him every game on the sideline, Z is not gaining any weight.

No it doesn't. This team is fricking done and we'll never ever get anything more out of Zion then a hand full of games every year if we're lucky!

THIS IS THE MOST DISAPPOINTING SEASON AND TEAM SINCE RETURNING TO NOLA!

Maxi Kleber tore his hamstring 2.5 months ago, got surgery, and he’s already returning. Meanwhile zion…

Honestly it’s getting to the point where we see this whole franchise is just caving in and I’m okay if Gayle sold the team. I’ll take the chance of a new owner keeping the pels here

What does tearing an Achilles after a gastroc strain have to do with a hamstring strain?
