This don’t make sense as far as the value. Philly just dumped like 8 million in salary for a single 2nd. Makes no sense at all

How many assets have we given up on getting rid of big men and really just assets from Griffs fricks ups

2 2nds for Favors

A 1st, Kenny hustle and 2nds for Adams

More 2nds and trading down in the 21 draft to dump Adams and Bledsoe.

8th overall pick on Jaxson Hayes

Sign Theis to a minimum just to barely play him and then pay a 2nd to dump him.

A 1st for Missi

Giving up a first for Graham (who wound up being Mark Williams) then giving up 4 seconds just to get rid of Graham and acquiring Richardson who just took up Treys minutes and lasted 3 months on the team.

I was just listing the assets he wasted on the center position. That’s how pathetic it is.

Now let’s talk about PG:

1st for Devonte graham, 4 2nds to dump him

Dyson(8th overall pick),Larry(could’ve really used him this year), 2 1sts for Dejounte only for Dejounte to play like shite, tear his Achilles and become one of the worsts contracts in the league

There’s the move to get under tax, probably nothing else happening.

This does not get us under the tax.... We are at (13) players. Even signing Boston to a 1MIL deal puts us above at 14.

Why did this get downvoted? This move does not help us get under the tax.... unless Brandon Boston PAYS us 25k to sign....

This can't be all. The Pels aren't paying to send Theis out when it sounds like they could have gotten paid for Javonte Green. This has to be a move before a move, unless it's a fake 2nd and cash they are sending to OKC.
How long have you watched Griffin? This is it. He probably panicked and pulled the trigger now as his primary goal was to skirt the tax. Always has been and always will be. Probably had nothing else he could get done, so had to meet his #1 goal.

It CAN'T be. We would still end up +1M over the tax after getting to 14 players.

Y'all can't just choose to not make sense and make it make sense.

As posted earlier in this thread, they can play the 10 day contract game for a little while (about 3-4 weeks) until we get to a point we can convert Boston.

The issue I see is we only have 2 centers, I don’t see that lasting the rest of the season

What doesn't add up? It is exactly what everyone expected. Would take a competent front office to actually improve the roster rather than make moves just to put more money in Gayle's pockets.

Let's hope so. We have a pattern of doing this to get under the tax for the past couple of seasons now. Kira and Graham's dump the past two seasons. Now with Theis. This is how we've been operating.

Why? We’re tanking. Give Missi and Karlo all the minutes, we need to see what we have in them.

I would bet a good amount of money that we don’t make anymore moves.

We play the 10 day game, convert Boston and ride out the rest of the season

Read above. Can play the 10-day contract game for a while and remain under tax.

I'm confused? Having 13 players isn't the issue. The second we sign Boston we go back into the tax?

If we are 1.5M into the tax and trade 2M then we are .5 under the tax. You sign the 14th player and are back in the tax?

Don't forget we also gave up the '22 Lakers 1st we had as well, but we had lottery protections on it so we were fortunate the Lakers sucked and we got the 8th pick that year, Dyson.
