Seemed to me...those Rockets were actually trying to play some solid defense...and concentrate on slowing Zion down. Don't see that too often...in the regular season.

They have a real coach who gets after his guys to play defense. Having said that though, what you said is why I don’t like their chances in the playoffs. They already play playoff intensity defense during the regular season, they don’t have a gear to go up come playoff time.

The numbers don’t bare that out at all. Don’t be fooled bc Jonas had some success against him for 2 years. Sengun has been a really good defensive anchor for Houston this season. Is he perfect? No. But he’s a top 5-10 defensive center in the league this season.

Naz is a really good shooter but I have questions about his rebounding/defense. Easy to say in hindsight but KAT was the guy. BI/CJ wasn’t more appealing than Julius freaking Randle?

It’s impressive how fast Houston has passed us. 6 years into the Zion era and Houston was able to blow it up, tank, and develop into a better team. All while we’ve been fighting for the play-in every year.
