Didn't the nets already say they had no interest in any Lakers package a few days ago?

That may change now that they’re pretty much going to be entering rebuild

I don’t want Kyrie on the Mavs, but it would be relatively funny if the Mavs traded Dinwiddie back to the Nets for Kyrie.

Well, that’s tampering charges against Knicks

Not really
They would've traded kyrie for a Westbrook package a few days ago if that's the best they thought they could get.
I have a suspicion this KD news was something that wasnt just dropped on the nets this afternoon.

According to Shams it was dropped on them this afternoon and they haven’t heard from KD before this

Well guess you can cross them off the list
Celtics talked to the nets too

Glad the Nets are not bending over. Hope whatever team they trade him to get fleeced. Don’t want to see any contending teams get him without gutting their roster in the process.

I’m curious if the recent disasters associated with creating “super teams” around disgruntled stars has made teams not named the Lakers or Knicks gun shy about blowing up the roster to add a disgruntled aging superstar.

Jaren Jackson got surgery done on a stress fracture in his foot. Out for 4-6 months but we all know how these injuries can be. Could be longer.

Probably wont be truly ready to go until after ASB
That hurts the Grizz a bit.

Damn that’s huge news in the West.

They did pretty okay without him in 2020. And they got deeper since. I don’t think that hurts them too bad going into the season.
