Then you absolutely wait. Selling Zion at his lowest point makes no sense. See if he can finish the season playing this efficient level of ball he's been giving you and finish healthy. See what the options are this offseason. Then if they suck keep him until next trade deadline.

He's still 24. Being that mega star may be gone, but he can still add to his value in a trade.

Jose should be untouchable unless we are getting 2 firsts back

That would mean that Jose has more value at $4.5M than BI does at $40M-$50M.

Newsflash: He doesn't. And he isn't even untouchable for 2nds. And he isn't even untouchable for a young player with potential without 2nds.....

You think this is Zion's lowest point? This is par for Zion.

Why?

Look, I’ve been a massive Zion proponent. I have two Zion jerseys. Lol.

But what the frick would lead someone to believe that Zion is not worth trading at this point? The only thing I can think of is that maybe you don’t think we could get value for him, because of his injury issues?

If otherwise, idk what to tell you. He is exceptionally unreliable. The best ability is availability, and he’s proven time and time again that he can’t stay healthy for the majority of an NBA season.

Maybe something changes but right now you simply can’t build around a guy who can’t stay on the floor.

I would be very excited to send Z to CHA. You get Brandon Miller and CHA 1st this year among other things and we already almost have a complete rebuild with (2) top 10 picks, Hawk, B Miller, Trey, Missi.

We will probably wait til the offseason to see what position the picks ends up but this year is probably the nest timeline to trade Zion and rebuild IMO. I'm not against keeping him either. But that would be a very very good "fresh start" situation

I would hope Griffin flips Brown to a contender for a 2nd and another expiring. He has no value to us.

Zion also has a VERY friendly contract to trade. Right now, only 20% of his salary for next year is guaranteed (assuming he's made his weigh in benchmarks) and nothing beyond next year. There's essentially zero risk to whoever would trade for him outside of the assets given up. If his body breaks down again - they can cut loose without being stuck with dead salary.

Send CJ to Detroit or Orlando .

A CJ move should be made today .

Have clean books going into this summer with a true plan of action.

He doesn't even make the team better when he plays. Since he came back from the obesity issue to start the year, the team has a better record when he sits.

I can tell some of your comments are just simply your bias, but some are just ignorant.

Our record is worse when he plays. The only teams we've beaten with Zion this year are teams we've also beaten without Zion this year.

Cold hard facts

Would make sense, but do not see it happening. I am worried Griffin will give him an extension.

Morons wanting to move Zion now make me laugh. You don’t move Zion until you know where you are picking in the draft AT MINIMUM.
