Tanking is our best option

There, I said what's on everybody's mind.
With a slow start and a bunch of injuries in a stacked conference, this team is not making the playoffs. We need more quality players and since we are tied up cap wise, the only way is to build through the draft. Well, to do that we need a top 5 pick, so...

Would be nice if they had a 44% 3 point shooter, 42% career, on the team to help. Monty definitely wouldn't let a guy like that rot on the bench.

Thank you! This is the freaking argument I made a couple weeks ago. I said they should just stick Morrow in there and go all offense and outscore people. They have the roster to be an offensive juggernaut.
They would be more entertaining, and it's their best way to try winning with the current roster. But everyone went nuts and was like "no, we need Aminu in there for defense. We will get killed on defense if Morrow is in there". It makes no sense. Is Aminu's defense really that great and helping them win games?

yeah only if monty used that guy and the rest of the bench more productively. not bringing in steamer and smith at the same time. steam sums and smith is not the shooter he was for cp3. rivers is better than final 3mins. the fricking gripes are a mile long!

We aren't as far away from that top 5 pick as you would think. The Pelicans (15-19) are currently only 3 games ahead in the win column of the team who currently owns the 5th pick, the Sixers (12-23). It isn't like we are have a shot in hell at making the playoffs. so I am on #TeamTank.

I actually think tanking would help player development. Give young guys like Withey and AR advanced minutes and allow them to grow.
