So i went on talkathon and simulated draft order and i ended up with this on 2nd try.

1. Clev
2. Mem
3. SAC = Boston
4. PELS!

Just curious to see what others think. Long shot Cavs trade right?

I'd say it makes a Boston deal even more likely since they'd have a top 3 picks to dangle too.

Best scenario I've gotten so far:

1. NY
2. CLE
3. PHX
4. NO

Trade AD to NY and draft Zion. Since we're going super young trade Jrue to Phoenix and draft Barrett or Morant. Then we still have out own pick at 4. In addition to Knox, DSJ, and the hustle squad. Not bad.

Phoenix isn’t trading their third overall for Jrue

Do they really want yet another young guy who isn't going to be able to help them win? Eventually they need to start adding veterans around Booker and Ayton if they want to start winning. Jrue seems like the perfect guy to do that.

I think that all depends on what type of deal we end up taking. If it's the Boston deal with Tatum and Smart you absolutely keep Jrue. If you take something like the NY deal I think even if you want to keep Jrue to help the young guys, he probably wants to do to a place that's further along as far as player development and making a playoff push.

Best I have gotten:

1. NOP
2. NYK
3. MEM
4. BOS (from SAC)

Don't see Jrue netting a top 3 pick a a return.

A top 10 pick, yes.

If Chicago got the 3rd or 4th pick I bet they'd trade it for Jrue. Especially if their current drill sergeant stays the coach

They could be a playoff team if they did that and the big white dude stayed healthy

i was just looking to see what others thought about what the Cavs would do in that sim, would they make that trade or keep the first?

Jrue could definitely net us more than a top 10 pick. It would depend on which teams landed where, but I think several teams in the lotyery would offer a top 5 pick for Jrue. Top 3 isn't out of the realm of possibility.

We should keep Jrue and market him. I think he could be a strong figure in NO if they market it right.

I love me some jrue. Possibly my favorite player in franchise history and the dude should have been an all star this year, but I would say top 3 is out of the realm of possibility. Top 5 maybe, but if you didnt get a top 3, with this years draft class it's a pretty risky move. It sounds nice on paper, but I wouldnt be to happy about it.

I don't think it's likely a team would trade a top 3 for Jrue, but I do think it's a possibility.

I personally wouldn't trade Jrue for anything after the top 3 picks either, unless somehow Morant or Barrett fell to 4 or 5, but that's not happening. The top 3 is basically set already.
