Dude's twitter is nothing but political drivel. No wonder he sucks as a coach.

Don’t follow him do you don’t like it. It’s like y’all try to get triggered by him. And he has a solid overall record as a coach throughout his career so you’re wrong about that.

It’s decreased at each stop imo. The game has just passed him by. I think a lot of times he has decent ideas on what he should be doing, but can’t get the players to do it.

I’m not gonna disagree but to say he’s a bad coach like OP said is just wrong

Sometimes good coaches become bad coaches.

The worst part is if SVG's political views were reversed I bet they'd have a more positive view on him and not hate him as much as a coach. It's just silly to judge a coach by his political views.

Stan did plenty of things to complain about, but 2 of his 3 biggest issues, Rotations and Focusing on the defense above all else, should be fixed with roster upgrades and not having to be a new coach dealing with COVID restrictions.

The 3rd biggest issue, fumbling away as many games as the players with bad game management decisions, can probably be helped by adding some better assistants.

So as bad as Stan was this season with the right offseason moves you can really reduce his negatives.

SVG wasn’t perfect, but all of his missteps were way down the list of issues with the team.

I am a political conservative, but I don't think that politics should dominate every area of my life, or that I should judge someone's basketball coaching by their political opinions.

It's ridiculous that so many people can't tolerate dissenting views. Those same people usually turn right around and complain about cancel culture, completely oblivious to their own role in it.

If my employees political beliefs do not affect their work product then they are none of my concern. I would prefer that if they are in a position that puts them in the public eye (which SVG is) that they keep political discourse to an absolute minimum to avoid alienating others who do not agree with their political views. I’d say the same thing if he was posting or retweeting pro-MAGA things. But that’s only a preference because at the end of the day, I’m not going to micromanage their social media usage.

Stan’s Twitter was always going to be an easy scapegoat if the Pels were losing because he’s all over it more than most other coaches. The only issue I have (and it’s small beans compared to all his other coaching shortcomings) is how much he uses it.

Im so utterly fricking tired of these threads lol.

Heres the thing, if liberal politics trigger you, if social justice triggers you, the NBA isn't your sport.

Because here's the thing, SVG may be on Twitter, but 95% of the coaches, assistants, and players are right there with him in their politics.

So if you can't function without melting when opposing politics are in your presence, the NBA isn't your sport.

The irony here, you not specifically because yours is low, is that most of the time this complaint comes from people on here with post counts in the tens of thousands lol.

Personally I don't think a half dozen to a dozen posts a day is really going to inhibit anyones life. Most people in their lives take breaks to zone out, blow off steam, socialize with groups of people with shared interests etc. This is one of Stan's outlets, so eh, as far as those go this is pretty whatever
