Agreed, he could be a better version of OJ Mayo.

I really hope we get Scola to add to that. We need some veterans on this team.

It was clearly something that didn't pan out in hindsight.
I dont get why people assume this.

Demps isn't dumb enough to dump his starting pg BEFORE he got another deal done. You make your move, then trade Jack. A Jack, for that Euro, trade could've happened at any time.

Rivers has been working exlcusively at pg in camp. IMO, they dumped him to hand the job off to Rivers without any questions. The asst. coach said as much.

I updated this in the stickied Offseason Thread but I'll post it here too. With 9 players now on the roster, here is what the rotation should look like:

PG: Vasquez/Rivers
SG: Gordon/Rivers/Henry
SF: Aminu/Henry/Miller
PF: Anderson/Davis/Smith
C: Davis/Smith

Suns fans are so excited that they saved money and will now probably have OJ Mayo. I guess they didn't pay attention to what's happened with the Nuggets and realize that stocking up on solid players gets you nowhere. You need that All Star-caliber scorer/closer on your team.

Jack is worth far more than cap room. He could easily have netted a protected 1st round pick and cap room.

Actually, we got cap space that we can still use after matching Gordon's contract.

If Jack was still on the roster, I think our cap would be tapped out.

I think so as well. Still plenty of time to get 1 or 2 more guys, but it probably won't be anything major.

If we can pick up a solid SF I'll be a happy camper.
