Gordon for Deng is the only trade I'll accept.

Unlike Gordon, he isn't a huge pussy.

I agree. Bulls haven't been shown to make any major moves with this squad and it's a pretty big risk on their part to send out Deng for Gordon.

I see it as reasonable, possible, logical.

I do not see it as highly likely. Too many unknowns, agreed. The main one is, of course, Gordon. Do they think he'll be healthy. He's good enough for his value to rise from what it is provided he remains as healthy as the average player. It might not maximize, but it will rise.

You don't have a bench player getting $15 million.

I still don't believe they plan on keeping Gordon long term, so Evans wouldn't be a bench player.

Tyreke Evans rebounds at a SG level. If we have just Davis as the main rebounder, he's going to get beat up. Do we really want that? I can't agree with putting all the salary into going small 1-3. Anderson doesn't rebound well and we wouldn't have any money for a good rebounding C.

I think we must trade Gordon. If we don't, we will realize we need to before the trade deadline unless we get SOME KIND OF deal for a post enforcer.

Also, Evans isn't part of this team yet. Some other team could go crazy and offer him $14 million or the Kings could match. Until the front office knows for certain I doubt you'd see them throw Gordon under the bus publicly. So, yeah, you're going to see this 'Evans as a SF' and 'rotational' propaganda being spouted. Stuff like this is leaking to the media for a reason and it's not to placate fans.

Demps plan A seems pretty obvious. Move Lopez to get Evans and move Vasquez to get a cheap serviceable small forward like Brewer or Copeland or Budinger. Then use our exception to get a cheap back up big like Dalembert, or Nazr, or Mullens. Gives us a lineup of

Holiday
Gordon
Copeland/Budinger/Brewer
Davis
Dalembert/cheap center type

with smith/Andersen/Evans/rivers all getting serious time off the bench. Putting a lot of faith in Monty's ability to manage complex rotations as well as individual improvements by Evans, rivers, holiday, Davis and Gordon. Don't think it's a bad plan, small market teams like Nola need to take risks.

Now I think this is only plan A. And I'm sure Demps has a plan B C D and E based on what other teams do and what trade offers he receives. Let's wait for it to play out

Evans has been a top 10 rebounder for his position since he came in the league and Anderson is one of the better rebounding PFs in the league

"Post enforcer" what does that even mean?

Right.

I can't see this 3 guard lineup as our key to success. Too much size in the paint vs a team like the pacers for us to keep up with.

@McNamara247 35m
No offense, but I will not answer any more tweets that ask "If we move Lopez, who plays Center?" for so many reasons. Sorry.

McNamara apparently thinks 20 year old AD can control the whole paint with Anderson and the guard-like tyreke.

with holiday, Gordon, and reke, we'd be penetrating more than shooting, leaving a lot of ball close to the paint. We weren't exactly good on the offensive glass last year. This year, without a C and without Aminu.... damn that wouldn't be good.

You need to be very efficient to run this small ball lineup

Ever watch melo follow his shot? a "post enforcer" would keep that shite from happening. AD can't do all that and keep a Tyson chandler, cousins, or whoever else at bay.

And "we" have some "fans" that are "looking to trade" Gordon. Maybe you can all hook up on XBox Live...
