Phoenix lost tonight, putting the Pels .5 games out of 1st place in the West. We play Detroit, quite possibly the worst team in the league, Wednesday. The Suns play the Celtics that night as well. If things fall as they “should,” Pelicans will be in 1st place a quarter of the way into the season.

Then we play the Suns twice at home on Friday and Sunday. That will be a great opportunity to leap out in front.

it’s been even longer than I thought. That’s the early CP3 Hornet days. That was a fun season.
