This thread is pointless until someone gives a viable answer to the question of, who are we buying out to create the roster spot?
Dyson is not going to the G-League.
Jaxson is not getting cut.
Temple would be the obvious answer, but i honestly don't think they want to do that. He literally sits next to the assistant coaches for the games now. He's basically a coach.

If there was mutual agreement between Temple and the team to cancel his contract, could they do that and then take him on as a player development coach?

On Marc Stein's podcast today Nerlens Noel was thrown out as a potential buyout candidate. Billy wouldn't be happy, but that's someone you cut Temple to bring in.
