I would definitely prefer to sit him and get him right before one of these sprained ankles turns into something way worse. And i have to agree, Jose is a great piece off the bench, but i really want him at 10-15 minutes a night unless he has one of those nights where he’s on fire from 3.

That’s fair with Daniels, however with our rookies last year growing in the playoffs, I’d like to see Dyson have a similar experience…another wing/guard really limits that opportunity.

The thread is about the buyout market, hence the subject.

Possibly, but if this thread can get back on track discussing the buyout market, it would be far more interesting.

indeed

however...to take a buyout player the pels need a roster spot which they currently do not have. What’s the plan?

Either Temple or Hayes waived to create a spot if we need it would be the play i think.

If they waive Temple they could always bring him in as a coach. They could even work out with him to retire and come back as a coach

Temple? Assign Dyson to the GLeague? Not getting an emergency big, or one that can relieve Nance in a matchup that Val is totally exploited is a hole in the roster.

Unless Hayes plays like his next contract depends on it.

Before even discussing who, the better question is would any buyout guys have any interest at all in coming here

they aren’t waiving Hayes LOL.
temple could be waived yes.

a better use of temple though would have been to throw him in to a trade today. If they waive him to sign a guy off the street that a poor use of assets

Yeah.

Does the front office just not see it this way?(the need for more rim protection)

Did all the activity of the last 24 hours have them resigned to a position of non title contenders?

What happened to the Collins deal? Where’s an HONEST BOMB when you need one?

I get the frustration but in the league today you have two choices. Defend at the rim and get 3s rained on you or defend at the perimeter and give up dunks and layups

name one team that can defend both.
this is a scorers league and a shooters league

Golden State is the one that can defend anything when needed.

But they are the gold standard.

Looking like guys like Danny Green and Justin Holiday will be bought out. Would love to get one of these to increase our shooting.

I also love that they think watching basketball leads to knowing basketball.

NFL fans consume insane amounts of football and no alarmingly little about it.

That being said, NBA fans may be worse lol
