It’s the 2nd round. To say most of the guys picked on the 2nd round will be completely useless would be a very vast understatement.

If there’s a guy you believe in, go get him.

Hornets traded two worthless seconds to move up to get Marcus Thornton.

Also, look at the two guys Clips took with the ones they got for us for Diallo. If Dell just takes Brogdon there, it's one of the best draft trades of the decade.

A few bad results by a different man in a different draft is no reason to be against it from Griffin in this draft

Really like Grant Williams I think he will have a Al Horford Paul Milsaps type career

Nic Claxton.

6’11 Point center type that can handle the ball, excel in a switch defense as a center, plays well in the break, plays well in the pick and roll, and defends at an above average college level already.

If Griffin doesn’t take a flyer on this guy in the second I will be genuinely disappointed.

Dylan Windler is a guy I would target and move up for in early second round.

I believe he has high floor of being an elite shooting role player.

Second round, I would target higher floor guys and try to secure the best chance of obtaining a solid role player on a great contract.

just from a marketing standpoint, it makes good sense too. If you are looking to further endear the fans to the team, taking an LSU kid like that would surely do it.

Remember when Marcus Thornton would hit a shot and they'd play the first 4 notes of LSU Pregame over the PA? Cuz I remember.

Would NBAdraft.net be a solid source for foresight in the draft or are they just guessing like everyone else?

It has us taking Windler with our 1st second rounder, does that hint that our FO might be interested or is it just a coincidence?

No, that might be the worst site.

I would say to pay for ESPN plus for a month. You can get a 7 day trial today and then a month and only be out 5 bucks. Then cancel after the draft

Tankathon is solid too, the stepien is very good, and I like nbadraftroom.com too

is Brian Bowen completely off the draft radar now?
I searched around a bit and saw he played in AUS last year, was he at the combine?

I watch a ton of college basketball. Probably 100-125 full games a year and pieces of others. But I like to suppliment that knowledge. Example, I do not watch the Draft Combine and chart measurements, 3/4 court times, etc.

So, I like to look at those sites and take my eye test and supplement it with stats, measurements, etc.

The one piece of knowledge I can never have and is a MASSIVE part of the equation is the personality part. I am a firm believer that a 15 minute interview with a person could push someone up or down a board a good amount. But I will never have access to that, and when I miss, I firmly believe that and/or the fit he went into was the reason why.

I am not humble, obviously. I think I am one of the best basketball minds in the world, but I can't fully know a player just based off of what I see on the court. And unfortunately, that is all I have access to.

Trust your talent evaluators. If you want a guy go get him. My only point.

If pels get him at 39, amen.

Combine is over. Windler now re-pegged to go first round. 24th to Philadelphia.
Shoots from 3.
Runs the floor and knows how to shoot around basket.
Solid rebounder.
Good passer.

Some team is going to get Kabengele late in the first or early in the second, and it will be an absolute steal.
