So griff is screwed either way , he does nothing and everyone is mad , or he caves and gives up to much and everyone’s mad

Griff can't worry about us being mad. He needs to worry about what is the best direction for the team. And he needs to be right or he won't be the one making decisions next offseason.

Kinda the position you put yourself in after having two bad off seasons after being gifted a generational player….

Maybe so, maybe no. Why can’t people just wait to melt until the Memphis trade is done and there is no expansion to it. I don’t get the eagerness to meltdown early. Melt all you want after that deal is done, but I don’t get the “I wanna be the first to melt” bullshite

I am very far from melting.

The offseason has been fine. We are an improved team, marginally. We will make one or two other moves of minor note (Hart? MLE?).

We aren’t going to be making some amazing addition to the Memphis trade.

Once again you may end up right , but why are you so certain nothing happens before Tomorrow’s deadline ?

Will be an interesting 12+ hours.

I guess the operative question is what is the most you guys would give up for either of those 2 - picks and/or player wise?

Y’all are really too dumb to get reverse psychology and make me say it, thus defeating the purpose, huh?

So what is the ceiling for a marginally better team? Loss in the play-in game? 8th seed sweep in playoffs?

This week has been so long and disappointing that despair seems like a reasonable place to be.

I still don't understand why we are presumed to be the desperate ones. The Kings really have to move Buddy. Everyone knows that he has been unhappy with the Kings, and everything I read on Kings blogs expects him to get moved.

Why do y'all think that we are desperate and the Kings aren't?

Is it possible to keep Hart and add someone like Ingles or Buddy? I just think energy-wise we need to keep Hart. We are a different team when he’s on the floor. I’ll pay 4/$40 for that.

The Kings don’t have to move Buddy. They aren’t over the tax and they didn’t need to do so to sign Holmes.

Buddy isn’t good enough to hold out or demand a trade and sit out. They’ll just tell him to stfu and they will search for a trade into the season.

Everyone knows the raging inferno surrounding this franchise. Everyone knows what a total abject disaster the last year has been for Griffin and that he needs wins desperately. Everyone has seen the national media completely annihilate us for the past 4 days.

They aren’t going to do him any favors I’ll tell you that.
