No thank you. AD is our superstar. They would have to give up more than that.

They'd have to give me Steph to get AD.. AND they'd have to take Solo and ajinca off our hands too.

In other words, it aint happening. Now if they want to talk Boogie for Klay we can get that convo started

Exactly.
I'd love Klay, but not at the expense of AD. and frick Draymond. I don't want him even if he was free.

Top NBA players do not want to live in New Orleans. Draft or trade is how they go there.

They don’t have to “live” here. They stay here on gamedays/nights

Lakers and Knicks were always teams people would talk about where stars would just loveeee to go play... been years since any of that has happened. It’s about money, and it’s about winning. New Orleans is a fun city, too.

The issue is the marketing $$$ is vastly larger there. NOLA is a fun city, you could see the new NFL players all enjoy it, but that marketing $$$ is the difference maker.

But with Lebron it wouldnt matter. He is THAT big. He could play for any team and the circus will follow

Basketball wise NOLA should be a top 3 contender for him. But from what we have heard it will be about lifestyle, etc. So I think this has to do with family and where they are comfortable, which pretty much eliminates us.

Lebron doesn’t need to be in a big city to be marketable. Complete BS. He’s only reasons would he his sons not wanting to live here potentially or lebron living far away from his fam.

It's an 82 game season, where would he live?

THere's also family and children in the mix, so it's not so simple.

I'm sure this has been discussed but how are the Pels not considered a possible destination with AD and most likely boogie.

1. The decision isn't purely about basketball and/or the best place to win titles

2. If it were, while NOLA is a good spot, it's still behind a couple of other spots

For the first time, I’m taking seriously the idea that the Pels may go after Lebron, based on what I’ve heard. Who knows, though.

Can a three team sign and trade happen?

Lebron to Pelicans

Cousins to Lakers

Randle, Deng, and Kuzma to Cavaliers.

Lakers can then sign George and still have the money to go after Butler next year.

I wondered this too. If so, it would make an interesting offseason since there's what 3 superstars potentially available?

Mo matter what they say, Cleveland remains the "mistake by the lake"

NYC and L.A. aren't the same draw they used to be.
