Krewe of New Orleans is just fricking pimp and only we could do it.
Youths would eat that shite up.
We could have one giant Mardi Gras ball for every game. Hell, they could have one close to Mardi Gras for a game and everyone could dress up. Masks in the stands.

I think those are pretty good arugments against Krewe. Look at the Thunder. They have that horrible logo and really no image. That is a big thing to avoid.
Now, when everyone is saying Krewe. Are we the New Orleans Krewe or is it Krewe of New Orleans. I just think the latter is a lot better.

This is my choice, and I think most people would comprehend the fact that it refers to a Brass band and not the administration of the local police.

When i say mascot, i mean logo. Which is HUGE.
When you win 10 NBA titles it doesnt matter what your logo is. Or if you have Lebron and Dwade on the same team

I'm not really talking about the mascot. I'm just talking about various images. The Lakers have the logo, font, and basically a monopoly on purple and gold. Different images can conjur up the Lakers in people's minds. The Thunder do not have that. Their font couldn't be picked out of a lineup. It looks like something you get on a video game in creat-a-team.
Some may argue that that is because they are new. But look at the Bobcats. They have the letter logo, the Bobcat logo, the racing checker thing. The Grizzlies are relatively new. They have the letter logo, the Grizzly, and the paw with the ball.
