It’s been proven that the most accurate Pels info is the opposite of what Fletch says.

I don’t see how we trade Zion and then resign Murphy and Herb. With BI, too many guys playing the same position (none of them are really a 2).
We would have nothing at the 4 and JV is not a long term answer at the 5.
It seems like we would have major issues at the two power positions and overloaded at 2/3 with BI, Trey, Herb and Dyson.
There would have to be a second trade to rebalance the roster. BI as part of the deal would not necessitate the second trade imo.

Fletcher, his coworker, literally reported less than a week ago they weren't trading Zion lol

You have to understand they’re all being fed crap right now. Its not bad reporting, they’re just reporting what they’re being told. And I wouldn’t trust anything they’re being told right now.

If we trade Zion for Scoot, then Scoot needs to be an immediate star. It's an all-in bet for Griffin, and his performance will always be judged by that trade.
That's why I don't think he will do it. It would likely end up costing Griff his job.
Absolutely. Realistically you need Scoot to hit all of his potential and Zion to hit none for us to win a trade like that. It’s madness.

You’re out of your mind if you think Scoot is going to be a top 15 player walking into the league.
If that’s the case Wemby should be #1

I don’t think its that simple man. It never is. Whether both stays healthier, better fit, off court stuff, coaching, teammates, etc. All of that matters. Imagine Zion if traded has a great season but Hornets lose in play in. Meanwhile Scoot plays well but doesn’t win ROY and Pels somehow make it in deep in playoffs. So its not that simple. The argument will be oh but with that Zion we could have won it all but who knows how much playing with Lamelo made him better and maybe getting traded made him mature.

If Zion and BI are both unavailable what could we possibly have to offer to move up that high?

I get what you are saying but a team can never have enough wings. It is the most valuable position in the league. Plus you will probably see more of Herb playing the small ball 4.

You have to keep in mind, that if Zion is traded, Griff would probably bring in or demand another pf in the trade. There is no way we would go into the season with just JV at the 5 and no-one at the 4. Besides if Zion was traded it would really free up some money for other moves.

Herb can be our Draymond honestly. No BS

Doesn’t Zion and Scoot seem like a terrible fit? If you are betting on Zion health, you need shooting range and rim protection around him.
Same with Scoot. If he’s the star you think, shooting range and rim protection around him.
I’ve admittedly only watched highlights of scoot but seems like two guys that just want to attack the rim.

Scoot is also a really great passer and playmaker. I don’t think all you need is shooting. You need guys to attack the rim as well it opens up lanes and easy passes for guys like Zion. The more rim pressure, the better.

Scoot is a very good fit with Zion. Any good PG would be. You can run PNR with Zion and Scoot's midrange as well as his floaters/runners will be a weapon especially if defenders sag off to try to wall off Zion.
Henderson also has the ability to win matchups via rim pressure. With Zion on the floor, he's going to be 1on1 going to the hoop every time. If he break down defenses, he'll have easy dump offs, wide open passes to the corners, or finish at the basket and draw fouls on the late rotations.
Scoot can get the Ball to Zion in tight space down low Which is something we haven't been able to do at all since Lonzo.
The only reason why I like Scoot for this team is because of Zion's gravity. He'll allow Henderson to really effective even with a weak deep ball.

Herb would have to gain at least 30 pounds and magically learn how to pass
