Seeing plenty of trade ideas with us shipping Hawk out and a few with us getting Whitmore

Are Hawk bros finally ready to admit that Whitmore should have been the pick two years ago?
Or do we need another year for proof?

I don’t see anyone claiming Hawk was a solid pick at this point.

There was quite a few last year.

Hawk doesn't shoot well enough to be an NBA player. I agree with you.
That being said, Whitmore still has a lot to prove. He's crazy athletic but not real basketball smart.

Hawk doesn't shoot well enough to be an NBA player while being absolute arse at everything else.
I know people gave me shite for it but I made my decision on him during the summer league game where he showed just how mentally weak he was.
You don't just act/ play like that and it be a 1 time thing.

if Whitmore is so great, enough to warrant this chest beating post, why would the Rockets be so ready to give him up, as well?
seems like they BOTH have failed to live up to expectations, and BOTH were lackluster prospects/picks

This is a "swap them and see if the situation might be better elsewhere"

nah, i get it... personally, i just think both of them were just not great prospects... Whitmore fell in that draft for reason, and Hawkins never was really looked as a premier prospect... it is what it is

He was a good shooter in his 2nd year.
Issue is hrs also bad at everything else (handles, defense, scoring at 3 levels), so if he can't get his shot off he's completely useless.
I think he has the yips similar to NAW early in his career. But at least naw had the traits to be a defender.

I disagree. Whitmore has put up the numbers when given the chance. But he hasnt been given the chance with a loaded roster. Same reason Sheppard can’t get much play. But people that know basketball see the high upside potential.
Hawk had every opportunity to shine this past year with all the injuries and fell flat.
Someonwhere there’s a world Griff would have listened to me and DD and Cam would have blew up last year on our roster and we’d actually have some hope this year.

Somewhere there is a world where 3PieceSpicy is the GM and we would’ve had Sengun and Hali on the same team, as well as a solid trade package for Zion 3-4 years ago.
It’s really unfortunate we had retard Griffin running the show for so long. We had a great chance to be what OKC is now and worst case scenario what Houston and Cleveland are right now.

37% from the field and 33% from 3 is not good. Those numbers while being bad at everything else get you pushed out of the league quickly

Still can’t believe we drafted Hawkins when we knew he had back problems.

Oh I was referring to his college year
As to why we drafted him, but he's been arse in the league.

if he was a good as you apparently think he is, he be getting much more run and would pushing for a starting spot by now.... yet here we are talking about how he's just not getting a fair shot b/c of the "loaded" roster he's on... and fwiw, Whitmore wouldn't have gotten all that much more playing time here, unless you think he was going to be playing ahead of Ingram, Murphy, and/or Jones.... he still would have been riding pine, damn near just as much here as he did there vs. that "loaded" roster he is on
it's not that hard to realize he's just not as good as many here thought or hyped him up to be during the draft....

You're arguing with an idiot.

i don't think the guy is an idiot... misguided, perhaps, but i wouldn't call him an idiot

Like the same idiots on here that argued with me that DD wouldn’t amount to much last offseason right?
We’ve seen what Hawk is with extended minutes. We have no idea what Whitmore is. But there’s no denying he currently has way more trade value.
