My ticket prices are actually slightly decreasing from this season.

You guys had me scared with all this big % increase talk: “Big Price Increase”

I’m certainly renewing even though I claimed weeks ago I wouldn’t if Gentry was still head coach when the renewal process started. I’m very glad they and he have seemingly righted the ship. We still have a lot of work to do and ground to make up, but the future is bright. It’s going to be a very fun second half upcoming. I want the Lakers in Rd 1.

The trick is to get each person on the account their own account. So basically each ticket is only $200.

Hoping they still keep the beer garden

Beer garden and the 10%-15% off concession prices and merchandise are gone per my rep. Also, I was told I have to decide how much of the $500 I want applied to concessions and how much to merchandise before the season. It can be broken down however I want (i.e. $300 concession, $200 merchandise, etc).

Rep said that only 25% of season ticket holders used the beer garden, so they decided to give people more money to use inside and extend the gift cards the whole season instead.

They already eliminated the bounce houses, video game bus and basketball court outside the arena before games. That stuff entertains my kids while I’m drinking free beers. Now I’ll have no reason to get there early. They’ll probably eliminate everything pregame

That's bullshite. Why does this organization feel it is good to take stuff away. The beer garden was effectively paid for by sponsors.

Rep is full of shite and just spewing the company line. They are not giving anyone any more money. Taking away the 15% discount will more than offset any increases they give in concession cards. They think people are stupid enough to believe their bull. That is how Stanfield works though.

I had a pretty long talk with my rep about it all at the game on Friday. As far as Beer Garden, he explained it was a very large expense and in large part because the Pels don’t own the building. So even though it’s Dixie out there, that has to be purchased directly through Centerplate and they up charge like crazy. Said based on the surveys and actual number of people out there, it was bleeding money. On a good night, 500-600 people out there when you have over 10,000 season tickets sold. He told me the number one rated perk on the season ticket surveys was more food and beverage credit, so that’s what they tried to do. From that aspect I get removing beer garden, just hope they put something out there to do pregame.

I filled in my info on pels website enquiring info on season ticket prices and packages last week. One of the reps called me and left me a voicemail offering me a private walkthrough of the saints and pels facilities. Is this normal practice for them? Has anyone of you been on this walkthrough?

The facility tour is cool. Ask him to take you to lunch at the dining facility.

Think you are just getting company line. Unless things changed with Dixie, I knew the previous rep that supplied the beer garden and it was not upcharged through a 3rd party. Also, the additional F&B credit is just a farce. By taking away the 15% discount, the average season ticket holder will lose benefits. Also, the 15% discount was the only place I can recall whereby length of support by the ticket holder was ever taken into account.

Anyone have a rep they really like that routinely gives them perks? Mine is new this year and non-existent.
