I just looked at my STH account and my renewal invoice is in there. It's 75% higher than this season. $700 this season, $1,220 for next season.

I emailed my rep to ask her if this is correct. Did anyone else see their invoice and do you see similar increases?

My rep told me my 350 seats are going up to 50p. I flat out asked him on what merit is this increase? I mean the team is 10 games under 500

Well that's what I have; 2 $350 seats. They went up 75%, not 50%.

When are they due by?

Just checked: mine went up by 43%. I had 2 seats at $350 as well. The percentage they increase is just based on where they are.

I assume the invoice amount on the STH account isn't including taxes? If that's correct, my seats in 114 went up 25%. Bogus.

I don't think they charge taxes.

I've had tickets for 8 years now. I'm seriously considering not renewing because of the price

May not be taxes, but there is certainly some fee you pay when you buy the tickets. I remember that much from getting them last year.

Must be the Zion effect. They feel they can gouge the season ticket holders because so many purchased season tickets after we got the #1 pick.

Just sent this to my rep:

"Jordan this can't be right...... I just looked at my Pelicans account and saw an invoice on there for 2020-2021 season tickets and the price for my seats are $1220! I paid $715 this season so that is a 70.6%!!!!!!! increase! We are 10 games UNDER .500 right now and the Pelicans want 70% more for next years tickets?!?!"

Boy I am pissed!

Why buy season tickets? You can go to any game you want for a fraction of the price. I’m glad you support the team but if they want to frick over their STH’s then the secondary market will be flooded with tickets. Way to be greedy, Pels. How can you get an electric atmosphere when you are pricing your STH out of their seats? Last time I checked there wasn’t a waiting list for season tickets.

Ticket prices went up with LeBron in Cleveland. If Zion is this superstar like everyone thinks, then the price makes sense to go up.

They’re probably making plans on having an exciting and successful offseason and beyond.

Market value

If you don't pay that price, someone will.

It's not about merit.

You also want cheap tickets because you say the team isn't good this year. If they're really good next season, you surely aren't going to throw them a few extra bucks for the great value seats you have, so not sure why you're expecting it from them.

People are being silly in this thread.

They want to say Zion is the next big thing but then get mad that they can't get tickets at a cheap price we'd have for a shite team.
