So something like BI and Theis to GS Kuminga and Wiggins to Utah Collins and Podz to Pels
They wouldn’t send both out for Ingram.
More like:
Utah- Wiggins, Schroeder, pick from Warriors
Pels: Podz, Collins
Warriors: Ingram, Theis

Would Collins opt in to that last year of his deal at 26 mill? I have no idea how he is doing these days and if he would get any kind of good deal on the open market

Warriors are going to end up with KD.
Really hope that Houston gives us a call.
HOU: BI/ JRE
Pels: Dillon Brooks/ Jeff Green/ Jea'Sean Tate/ Cam Whitmore
Something like this would be better than what GSW can offer.

The Rockets would be worse by moving off of Brooks for BI. They need that defensive presence.

If its not the Warriors I can't fathom who would want BI. I think there is at least a very very good chance he is here after the deadline and just expires, which is a massive indictment of Griffin.
I'm very confident we will make at least one move however. We are getting under that tax, I guarantee it

I wouldn’t mind him, he’s probably not far off from Chauncey Gardner Johnson. Easy to hate as an opponent but like when he’s on your side. I think he’s a good player.

The hope is that atleast 1 of BKN/ TOR/ UTAH/ CHA/ CHI really want him.
CLE, HOU, ATL, GSW, DET could still all be "sleeper teams"

Brooks would have to be taken back for salary matching.
The trade would essentially be BI for Cam Whitmore/ Ja'Sean Tate. Which would be very good value if the only offers we are getting is 2nds and salary dumps. I'd rather Whitmore than some shitty late 1st.

Newsflash: They don't.
Any team that really wanted him could have had him at any point since June.
Toronto and Utah would like him, but neither will offer any value for him since they can get him for nothing in the summer. And the Hawks would like him for a half year rental with Johnson out for the year. They want to make the playin, and he's the best expiring option. Anyone else is looking to dump bad contracts for his expiring.

I think he would, cap space is limited ln the market and nobody could give him that much.
He’s been playing great this season.

Where do y'all come from with these takes? Not only are ALL of BI's stats better than Dillon Brooks but so is his defensive stats the last 2 years. And BI hasn't been anything close to a "liability" on defense.
Stupid arse comments trashing BI's on court abilities like he's a role player.

Phoenix ain’t trading KD, if they do Booker is getting traded also.

Wouldn't have realistically happened. Teams are going to wait and see how their core and playoff chances are looking before making a move. No one was trading for BI before the season (for anything of value).
That could absolutely change at any second with all the moves being made and roster changes. All it takes is one of those team to see BI as a pairing with another star like (TOR) and see a clear path to do it. And with every big move more pressure grts put on contending teams to upgrade.

Well it seems that Butler only wants PHX and Beal will NOT waive his trade clause for any team besides PHX. So if PHX wants Butler its either KD or Booker out. Why would KD want to stay in PHX knowing Beal is meh and they aren't winning shite?
I too would request to be traded back with Steph and volunteer to be the guy moved so that they can get Butler.
And they announced KD is monitoring trades with PHX FO so yeah that seems like exactly the situation going on.
Booker would 100% be next depending on how bad Beal/ Butler/ Booker play in the playoffs

If KD asks out Phoenix will trade him to GS, Booker to Houston for their own picks back, and make moves to start shedding salary. Butler only makes sense for them if he’s alongside KD and Booker, not Booker and Beal

I mean I’ve always really liked BI but I’ve started to separate from him a bit since he’s been hurt so much and not under contract going forward.

And I completely understand and agree with you there. But that has absolutely nothing to do with BI's on court abilities.

You were literally ready to fight people this summer when they said there was very little market for Ingram. You specifically said "every team in the league would want Ingram at 40 million per year" and that we were idiots if we didn't think he would bring back "at least 3-4 firsts".
No front office has ever valued Ingram like Griffin and the Pelicans have. After he followed up a terrible summer with Team USA with an absolutely awful postseason highlighted first by a public hissy fit and 2nd by a locker room altercation with his coach, he lost nearly all the trade value he had.
Combine all that with the rise of Trey Murphy and the Pelicans known position of getting out of the tax at all costs, the Pelicans have zero leverage in any deal. Every team knows the Pelicans have 5 bad choices:
1. Take a shite deal at the deadline.
2. Hope for a better deal on sign and trade (with almost no leverage).
3. Let him expire.
4. Resign a disgruntled player to a deal that he feels is less than his worth.
5. Pay him what he wants and destroy the fiscal outlook of the team.
You keep talking about teams getting desperate. The Pelicans are the desperate ones.
