Blazers offered him the max. Pacers might not match.
Why don't we done the same?
Love this guy.

He'd be awesome to have, but I'd be willing to bet that the Pacers will match. They can't afford to lose him.

We don't have a shot at Hibbert. The Pacers will match a max-contract.

Well this will be the 3rd time I've posted this. Monty and Dell have both said that Gordon's told them he'd love to come back.

Idk why you keep responding to these dumbasses. It's sad but this board will be the Rant very shortly.

And?....
Have we given certain members power to kill all threads by saying "i already said this somewhere else"?

I don't think they'd even offer Hibbert either, but if you think EG is going on a tour of teams because he wants to stay in New Orleans, maybe you're the problem.

He's going on the tour to try and get a max contract fricktard. He fully expects us to match whatever offer he gets. I don't fault him for trying to get the most money he can.

Please don't be this retarded...

He is trying to get a team to offer him a max contract. If he has to visit 29 teams for it to happen, he might. It has nothing to do with his preferred destination, just his preferred salary.

he isn't worth max money

he's a stiff who is aided by a lot of 3 point shooters in indy (which we don't have)

his defense is limited to the post area, which is going to become less important as the years go on

He's going on tour because he wants to be paid.

This is a great grantland piece on Hibbert
LINK
He's a pretty good center, but he can't really get a whole hell of a lot better than he is. He's not worth the money he'll end up getting. For that reason, I hope we don't go after him.

Well..what are some realistic max offer guys that can land up in New Orleans?

Are we just going to concede on that plan and offer to good-great players, instead of a max offer guy?

Gonna go out on a limb and guess that you could not have named a player on the Hornets roster (besides Eric Gordon) before the night of the lottery.

People are idiots.

I think people watched the first game of the Pacers Heat series and just decided Hibbert always plays that well. He doesnt and is way overrated by half this board.

He was an all star last year. I agree that he is over valued, but the guy is pretty good
