Bulls have made it official and released him. What's the possibility we can land him and resign Jrue?

If we are stuck with Jrue, I'm not opposed to Rondo, if he isn't going to be a fricking head case.

I think his relationship with Boogie can help keep that from happening. It gives us the P-n-R pg that can distribute and make sure AD and Boogie get the ball where they want/need it. IMO the style of offense we play we need a PG that's going to make smart decisions and not turn the ball over and I don't know if thats Jrue.

I think it's a gamble for sure, but if we make the playoffs, would love to see playoff Rondo in a pelicans jersey.

Hopefully Boogie is in his ear. With Jrue resigned we need more role and bench. Rondo is all that and more.

We just need more depth. This team is 3 stars (and I somewhat hesitate to use that term for Jrue) surrounded by bullshite d-leaguers.

Well, they were saying stuff about Boogie too before he came here - too many technical, etc. - and he worked out well last season.
Maybe we'll be the old Oakland Raiders of modern day basketball.

Jrue has played off ball a lot already so I doubt they made him any promises. If Rondo gives us a better chance to keep Boogie which leads to keeping AD I'm all for it.

We invested 25+ mil a year for Holiday. He's going to be THE guy at PG. Now we may play him at SG from time to time but you're insane if you think we are going to bring in a guy like Rondo who will only come here if he starts and plays starter minutes while forcing your 126 millon dollar PG to play SG the majority of the time.
Any PG that we bring into the team will definitely be a Back up. I don't see Rondo agreeing to come here for that role.
