Guessing Rondo's agent trying anything to get 76ers to increase their offer (if they have made one). Cannot see any scenario where Pelicans would seriously consider him.

rondo wouldn't be coming here to sit on the bench, and we just used our top pick on a SG. Jrue is in the last year of his deal. Bring in another Pg and you might as well be packing his bags for him. You would be insane not to trade him at that point.

I assumed if we got Rondo he would be the backup. When healthy, I think Jrue is the much better player overall.

Jrue is for sure, no question. But he is either going to be on another team after next year or making Mike Conley type money. There needs to be a decision there one way or another.
