I really don't have anything against this particular trade but is Demps attempting to assemble the worst three point shooting team in nba history? Jesus if this was the route you were gonna go why not take Copeland over Aminu

Sorry, but Demps would be a complete idiot to make that trade. Asik is a good defender, but Anderson is really the ONLY floor spacer we have on the team. Losing him would really hurt the team more than not having Asik. Asik is very overrated IMO.

I'd only be ok with this trade if we get Asik and Montiejunas. I really don't want to lose any of the core 5 the Pelicans have right now, but they are in dire need of a center and Montiejunas can produce some of the stretch 4 qualities that Ryno has.

Agreed. If we lose this dude for the goofy bastard Asik I will be upset. I think Anderson is more valuable to this team than Asik would be. He will make the trio of Gordon/Holiday/Evans lives easier. He's the one great shooter we have. I hope this doesn't happen, I want to see him with AD, Jrue, EG and Reke.

Didn't realize Asik gets paid $15 million next season, yeah don't see that trade happening at all unless multiple pieces are coming to NOLA.
