It's going to be great when Howard is the same player he was last year and the rockets win like three more games and get the 6th seed

Not sure if this has been posted:

Q. Why has Omer Asik for Ryan Anderson not happened yet? It just seems to make so much sense for both teams. Davis and Anderson both need to be playing the 4 while Asik and Howard really can’t play together.

Steve Kyler:
Pelicans don’t want it. Equally, Ryan Anderson and Dwight Howard really did not get along that final year in Orlando. I don’t think Ryan would welcome a move to Houston.

Makes sense. We would want more than just Omer Asik and we definitely don't want to make a division rival better buy swapping their backup center for a starting PF that can put up 20 on any given night. Also, Howard has to be a huge a-hole to not get along with Ryno.

Was Ryno one of the players who called out Howard for having a bruised twat during his final season with the Magic?

Steve Kyler covers Orlando for HW so if he's saying this it's based on seeing them together every day. Not that liking each other was ever a requirement of being traded.

If we are being honest with ourselves, Asik was actually a starting center last year for Houston and Anderson was our back up PF. Just saying.

What's going on with this thread? Did we say we're not interested and the Rockets say they're not trading Asik?

Or are we just calling their bluffs to keep this thread going?

This thread may . . . I say, just may . . . have outlived its relevance.

Is it just me, or does Asik remind people of famous musicians?
