Now do this for every other NBA GM in the history of the league

He only made three draft picks in his time as GM. 3. Nine turned out great. That is not a solid track record to be finding the guy ama

I disagree, nine out of three is a tremendous clip

He whiffed on Bennett, but he has been pretty open about it. Said you can't project someone's heart and Bennett was never interested in playing once he got paid. The talent was always there, but his head was never in the game.

If you're unsatisfied with Griffin, I'll gladly swap James Jones for him right now.

Not unsatisfied at all. Just saying he doesn’t really have a good track record on drafts.

That said, he’s been a great gm so far. This was more about people acting like he’s some draft guru.

Bringing in Langdon was big. It will be interesting to see how this plays out but saying just trust Griffin on drafting is a bit naive.

Were there any other trades except Love in Cleveland that he "presided" over?

Wont argue the draft pics, but AD trade was severely in our favor...and with little to no leverage.

Have a hunch though that time might tell that it was as much pelinka was desperate due to negative pr.

Art of the deal i guess...still think Griff is a stud.

He was also the driving force behind them picking Anthony Bennett.

What a terrible draft class in all though.
He would get slammed for anybody he drafted there besides CJ, Victor or Gobert. Still a horrible choice.

What's wrong with the Wiggins pick? who out of that draft would you take before him at that time

Exactly. I only follow most drafts casually, and from my recollection even I knew that Witgins was the concensus pick there. He was hyped big time by everyone.

Turned Dunleavy into Korver
Turned Varejao into Channing Frye
Turned Dion Waters into Smith and Shumpert
two first for Mosgov

Yea, he pretty much built that roster that won the finals on trades.

I trust Griffin when it comes to trades and free agents. We now have Langdon as a talent evaluator. We have the right mix of guys to make good decisions. I’m not worried at all. We had Demps for all these years and you’re worried about Griffin. That’s sad.

Pels talk please stop.

Everyone knew Anthony Bennet was a bust, that whole draft sucked. AB was clear cut 1. Again, whole draft sucked. Moving on please.

and every other team in the NBA, had they had the #1 slot that year... he was the consensus #1 pick, so he wouldn't have been the only one to frick that one up...
