What is an ideal ending to the season for you guys?
Barely make the play in, finish season with 11 pick and run it back with changes to JV for Turner?
Or
Miss the playoffs and playin and finish with 8th pick and trade the pick and BI to Charlotte for their 3rd pick and PJ Washington?

Trading BI to move up 4 spots in the draft...am I reading that correctly?

access to a permanent ban hammer, just for a few minutes.

This is oddly specific. The Pelicans will just miss the playoffs and start the year healthy projected as a top 5 team in the West that falls apart a couple months in once injuries start.

C) win the whole fricking thing

So we give up the better player AND a top 10 pick and the pick we get back won’t get us Wemby, Scoot, or Harris 9/10??

let people make their own deals.
mine is Zion plays a couple regular season games and the Pelicans win 8th seed and sweep Denver before falling to the 4 5 winner Clippers in round 2 in 7. then on the temporary glow of successes, you move guys at peak value.

Pels get their shite together, Zion returns, they get the 6th seed and make it to the 2nd round or better. AND the Lakers miss the playoffs and we get another top 10 pick from them.

You aren’t the brightest light on the porch are you?

Zion comes back, we knock the lakers out the play in and we take the nuggets to 7.

None of this is realistic that's why I didn't make Zion coming back to save this pathetic franchise an option THIS season.

Ok wise man, tell me why keeping our big 3 core together is beneficial?

The ideal ending only has two endings I would be perfectly/equally fine with:
1. Zion returns and the Pels make the playoffs & meet the Celtics or Bucks in the Finals; while the Lakers miss the playoffs and the Pels swap for the Lakers lotto pick with an outside shot to move up for Wemby or Scoot.
2. Pels lose every game left, end up with mid-top 10 pick with better odds to move up in the lottery for Wemby or Scoot.

This team is in the worst position a sports team can be in. No man's land. They won't be good enough or bad enough to make a difference.
