Thats all assumptions. Your connecting all that to assume they would take Zion for 3. We have no idea what Cronins objectives are and what he or owners want. We have no idea what they perceive as value for Zion. You cant make statements like that without any proof to back it up. I mean you can say whatever you want but your just making grand assumptions based on leaks that could be lies on what Cronin actually thinks Zions value is.

The connecting of those facts to Zions value is the assumption. I worded that incorrectly. Thats what I meant. You are assuming what Cronin perceives off those things is Zions value. Thats the assumption.

I highly doubt they’re directly in touch with Griff. They’re not completely wrong on everything so I cant just sit there and say they make everything up. Granted they have been wrong on things. Yeah if you do leak when your not suppose to- you lose trust and access- kind of how it works.

Sorry if I have zero faith in the GF haver or the other guys. I'm sure he gets some inside intel on team culture, etc. But as far as trades, etc.

I advocated for this years ago. Giving away firsts for Steven Adams and Graham. Could have moved up a few picks and took Maxey when he started to drop with the Adams pick and last year could have landed Duren or Mark Williams and had a solid young center on the roster. Not all young players take time to develop. Some show right away that they can play. You just ship off players like Hayes and Kira or don’t sign them to second contracts if they don’t show enough and keep trying to hit that home run.

That's just not true. Charlotte prefers BI, because BI has more trade value than Zion. That's why I've continually said, that anyone expecting more than a straight Zion for Scoot (plus salary to make the trade work), we're over estimating Zion's current value around the league.

Everyone knows he's a top 10 talent when on the floor. That's never been a question. The problem is he's never on the floor, has maturity issues, has weight issues, has personal drama(not a huge deal, but it's something) and some even question if he loves the game of basketball.

BI doesn't have the same ceiling, but he doesn't have any of those same questions either.

We'd be crazy to trade BI over Zion, considering BI has done everything right and Zion has done everything wrong. What kinda message does it send to the rest of the team, when you say you're building this family atmosphere, and then trade the head of the family and keep the spoiled child?

Our fans are over estimating Z's value, like all fans do with their teams own players. Half of this board really thought we could trade Zion for Scoot, Sharpe and picks. Let that sink in. There are fans here who STILL think Zion has that type of value. Those are the ones that are gonna be disappointed. Because we're not getting near that value for Z. Not even close.
