Yeah with Zion we’re having trouble trading him for a number 3 pick. I think we as fans really over value him. His value is in the tanker in all honesty. I doubt anyone would offer anything close to boatload of picks for him.

I think Zion has top 10 trade value in the league still.

Ok why would you think that? I mean Charlotte asked for Ingram over him. I keep saying this we as fans value him a lot more than other teams do. His injury issues and even off court stuff really hurt his value.

If you still believe there wasn’t active discussion about Zion this past week for Scoot man Griff really has you guys fooled. He was never formally in an offer that doesn’t equal he wasn’t discussed.

Yeah I know and Im telling you they discussed talking about trading him for Scoot. Regardless, I don’t understand why people assume Zion has this high trade value in the league.

It wasn't, it all started with shams suggesting Zion and it fueled the fire from there. There were nothing to indicate he was discussed apart from the media playing fantasy trade scenarios.

Zion is a household name and was in MVP conversations six months ago.
He singlehandedly beat Jokic and Denver and then Embiid.
His trajectory was to top 5 NBA player.
If you asked NBA media types in December would you trade Zion for Scoot Freaking Miller, the entire league would laugh their arse off.
What's happened since then.
Zion pulled a hamstring twice and banged some sluts.
He didn't wave guns like Ja or tear an Achilles or blow an ACL.
He has shown he's naive and dumb and immature.
So has Ja. Why isn't he in trade talks for Scoot?
Zion is better than Ja and his idiocy won't get him killed at least.
People thinking Zion's value is tanked is living in the moment.
If he was 32 yeah. He's 22 and a generational talent.
He's worth a hell of a lot more than Scoot Henderson.
One healthy stretch next season and you could get one of the greatest hauls of all time.
Selling low is short term and stupid.

There’s no doubt in my mind that blazers and dame would take a zion for #3 kind of package…if offered

I can't believe I'm knighting for Zion.
I don't even like him.
I am not opposed to trading him. But it better be for a HAUL.
Like Scoot, several firsts and swaps. Nothing less.
I'm not even a big believer that his career will last that long.
But the NBA is all about potential and his potential is top 2-3 in the entire NBA still at 22.

Its not December, he played 29 games- you’re acting like he won the MVP anf beat Jokic/Embiid in the playoffs. He had a great December, beat thosr guys in a meaningless regular season game and then got injured on a hammy which he couldn’t fully recover from him to even make the play in.
Well in the moment, Zions value is in the tanker. Will it change maybe but we dont know cause he cant stay healthy.

Off topic. I know people hate MM tweets- but someone asked why the local pel guys have almost a gag order? Because again it seems like stuff has slowed down from the local pel guys.
MM responded the gag order has nothing to do with the draft all he will say.
