No, we are 3.5 games ahead of the Jazz now. I forget who said it, but I saw someone point out that we need the Jazz to have hope and play hard against the Lakers, since they still play each other twice.

I want 6 vs Sac

Easiest path to conf finals.

Beat Sac then play Memphis

Honestly Sac scares me more than Denver does. If you can take Jokic out of the game Denver crumbles.

3-1 should get us in the top 6. I doubt Minnesota wins four in a row, but if we beat them with one of the wins it keeps us above them.

Yeah I agree. We matchup really well with Denver. Feel pretty good facing the King’s with Larry healthy to guard to Sabonis as well.

i'd actually root for the Jazz here. A Nets loss all but locks the Knicks in the 5 seed allowing them to potentially rest some players against us later in the week

I just want the Pels to keep winning. The team has gotten extremely fortunate with a combination of bad/tanking teams and teams with key players sidelined in this last run, but eventually they will need to beat good teams that aren’t hobbled, might as well get started and win ‘‘em all.

But there is zero chance we can take Jokic out of probably even 1 game, much less 4.

Exactly. Kings would be tough too but I’d much rather play them in the first round than the Nuggs.

Just go 3-1 over the next 4 and we should be the 6 seed. I think if we lose to Sac, we’ll see Zion against the Grizz. If we win against Sac, I think they wait until the Knicks game

BI is playing about the best basketball of his life. Everyone else is filling their roles, aside from Nance who just doesn’t look right. As cliche as it is, have to focus on Sac and only Sac, then let the chips fall where they may.

Stupid losses like LAL early in the year, and HOU a few weeks ago, are such a killer.

I certainly hope Zion come back, but I’ll be shocked if he does.

Bingo!
This makes me so mad and why I can’t stand it when people run with the ‘it’s a long season’ shite after a stupid loss… they all add up.

Hopefully we still sneak in without the play in though. We’re playing good.

I get the sentiment... believe me I do... but the point of this thread was to make sure we at least make the play-in

so I'm simply following the course which makes sure we clinch a spot in the postseason

The Pels has been one of fhe teams most affected by injury. I don’t see why we would discredit the Pels latest run because of other teams being injured/sidelined.

I posted the quote above as I make this statement

the Nets are murderizing the Jazz late in the 3rd

that should all but eliminate the Jazz from our concerns when it comes to actually securing a postseason spot

I hear ya but this thread was started around 11 days ago.

Expectations have changed since then.

Now down 2.

Shaedon Sharpe showing some real flashes of what he could be these last 10 games or so.
