Yes and raptors played the last 9 minutes of their game with 2 rookies and 3 g leaguers. They didn’t finish with their starters. These teams are actively tanking meanwhile we’re playing everyone besides Zion 32+ minutes.
If we keep doing what we’re doing I’ll be suprised if we end up 4th

Jazz tanking like mofo’s. They just intentionally lost to the Wizards.
Yep...rule #1 on tanking is...
1. You don't "tank" on offense...you "tank" on defense.
Everybody actually tries to make shots on offense...it's the effort on defense...that's makes for a solid "tank"

Why do you think our team is doing this?

I have to say Willie did put out some tank like lineups against the Lakers. Hopefully that will continue.

We're now less than 20 games left in the season. Griff needs to lay down the hammer and force Green to scale back Trey and CJ's minutes. Zion, Trey, and CJ should not be exceeding 28 minutes a game moving forward.
There's no reason for them to play that many minutes and risk injury in a meaningless season.

No reason for any of our guys to play over 30 minutes

None but they keep doing it. Game after game. Even Zion has been getting 30 + here and there of late. Willie is such a bitch

Sadly I think the players still want their numbers and they can run up stats in garbage minutes. It would probably make more sense to just totally sit them out the rest of the year. We can bring in G league guys and play others more minutes. We don't really have any intriguing young guys to showcase at this point. The cupboard is really bare..

It’s criminal that Griff has not stepped in and forced Willie to reduce Trey’s minutes. He’s averaging ~36 minutes per game. Willie has him playing close to 80 minutes in B2B’s. Its incredibly frustrating to watch.

Zion needs the exercise

We should easily remain in the 4 slot, but watch if we don't get a few key wins to drop us to 5. It's a Pelicans/Saints thing to do.

It doesn't matter, he should not be a part of the long term plans since his health risk is a issue. If we are smart we will sell high while he looks good now. We need to learn from the BI situation.

Maybe not, but you need to rebuild this value and doing so he needs to play.
The only way it's worse - he has a catastrophic injury and those aren't predictable anyway.
As it stands, he will exist on the pelicans. Griffin's job and career all hinge on it right now.

What is our best case scenario at this point? I don’t see us getting anywhere close to the wizards, I think they have #1 locked up. We’re two games behind the hornets and 1.5 games behind the jazz. Can we catch the jazz? We’ve been great at losing games this season but Willie is freaking me out with the Trey spam and cj randomly deciding to go off for 40.

Defensively, we're so bad so it'll be fine. We hang early and never can clamp down late.
The wins we had were against bad teams. We just need them to get hot.

4th is where we'll probably land. Philly and Toronto will win enough games against one of Utah or Washington who they play multiple times to keep us below them.
You have Utah and Toronto who are just blatantly resting players. And Washington was built to tank. Luckily they play each other and will help build a little cushion for the Pels to stay at 4.

If ever it has felt like the NBA lottery was rigged, it would be the number of times absolute tank jobs missed out on the picks they're angling for.
