less efficient Moore with better creation abilities sounds like a better option than Clark/Frank.

Not to mention a better defender

And now they are saying he wont be signing in Memphis...We could do alot worse than him, cut Harrison and bring in Rivers

More details on this from a Memphis beat writer

quote:

Contrary to today's reports, a source with knowledge of the negotiation tells The Daily Memphian that while the Grizzlies considered the matter, the team is not signing Rivers. Unlike on Friday night, when early reporting seemed to reveal some internal confusion among the NBA teams involved in a proposed transaction, this seems merely to be a case of a premature report.

This story has been updated to reflect that the Grizzlies are apparently not signing Austin Rivers.

Not possible. They brought Harrison in on a 2 way contract. They'd have to cut one of Frazier/Okafor/Williams to sign Rivers.

Obviously rivers isn’t close to a first, second, or third choice. But given our guard situation...should we?

NO sign Nigel Williams Goss who is dominating Europe for the second year in a row.
