CJ won it for us game over

This game proved my thesis from yesterday when I thought Z was sitting out yesterday.
Z is an empty stats guy and doesn’t help his team win consistently. He’s a weird dude to build around and his gameplay style largely interrupts the continuity of his teammates.

Embarrassing for the kangz. Derozen singlehandedly screwed them

You do realize we got 40 from our bench tonight right? That's pretty rare and will win you a lot of games when it happens.

Somewhat, but also almost every time he drives to the goal, he ends up on the ground, and then the other team has a 5 on 4 and they score.
He scores 30, and the other team scores 30 off his shots, even when he makes it.

I know Derozen was on early and Lavine is new but end of game I’d let Lavine shoot it.

Your takes are whack as frick bro. You're just gonna ignore last season when even out of shape Zion played 70 games and went 49-33?
Even including this very obvious tanking season Zion has a winning record as a pro.

100% what I’ve noticed too
It’s tough for him to score at the end when the whistles and defense tightens
When he gets the foul, it’s an absolute crapshoot if he’s making 0,1 or 2 FT’s
His teammates don’t really catch rhythm bc they don’t get to dribble the ball much
At the end of games, he turns the ball over a bunch, usually leading to extremely easy buckets
And like you mentioned, if he misses a layup, he’s usually on the ground or barking at a ref and it’s 5 on 4 and it’s always a bucket for the opps
The mythical version of him that we see 4 times a year is probably similar to peak Giannis, but the rest of it is basically a slightly different gamestyle and similar overall results to a Carmelo Anthony.

Not a good night nigh4 for Trey but 9 boards and 11 assists.... ok then!

Trey 1 board off a triple double, wow. You really wouldn’t expect that from him. Dude is growing.

Why are Pels winning games

Karlo is going to be a legit rotation big for us. He’s going to end up being a very solid backup 4/5. Mark my words.
I’ve been saying he reminds me of prime Maxi Kleber, who was a very good player for the Mavs for 4-5 seasons in the same role

That's a nice comparison

I don’t consider a guy a winner just because 1 season out of 6, he plays 70 games, the team goes 49-33 to barely squeak into the play in’s, and then he taps out of the last 3 minutes of the play in’s.
We also couldn’t win a game in the 4th Q last season and he’s a big part of that. Because he largely can’t make buckets or ft’s or stop turning the ball over in the last 5 mins.
He’s an impossible dude to build around and actually expect any kind of real success. And we 100% should trade him at the conclusion of the season, unless we are satisfied with more of the same.

Games? Plural? This is the first one in over 3 weeks

Every time we win, it’s because CJ went ballistic.

Who are you arguing with?
