Kira has been fun to watch. Perhaps he should get a little more run on the ball. Might help Ingram and CJ’S stamina.

For sure, Pels have to see how matchup’s develop, Dyson should have been on Klay at the end, also Kira and Jax should have gotten more run. Its like rotations and minutes are predetermined.

Kira and Jax were looking good so we go away from them. I'll never understand, Kira was the only player other than Trey that could hit a 3 and we play him 10 minutes.

Willie has little trust in the young players. But going 8-21 with the vets and older new players is fine

Tough game. Golden State is almost unbeatable at home. You'd have to play perfect ball to beat them there. They hung tough but came up short in the end.

The Pelicans had 5 total rebounds between Herb and Trey on a night like this where rebounding is a premium is just unacceptable. Hayes has been a nice contributor since he got back in the rotation but 1 rebound tonight is pathetic in 21 minutes of play.

I don't know how they are going to manage the rebounding to finish the season but they cannot be this weak on the boards and expect to be able to win enough times make the post season. It's their Achilles heel at this point.

They shouldn’t be unbeatable at home on the back end of a B2B missing their 2 best players. We’ve got to stop making excuses.

We had every opportunity to win that game and we threw up brick after brick on WIDE open looks.

Absolute shite show by us again.

Only silver lining is that the lakers lost so our fall from grace is still at 10 rather than 11

Exactly, Willie's in game adjustments are bad and this game is a great example of that. Meanwhile, in Sacramento, near the end of their close game, Mike Brown took out starter Keegan Murray for Malik Monk as the offense had become stagnant, settling for poor jumpers. Monk had a terrible shooting night but had set up plays for others well because of his ability to draw the defense in when he drives and his chemistry with Sabonis in the 2nd half. It worked and they won by a point.

Abysmal results in the last 30 games. One of the worst teams in the league.

Everything goes back to him valuing defense to the detriment of everything else. Kira has looked good in limited minutes, but limited minutes is all he's getting because he doesn't want to play Kira and CJ at the same time.

That being said, when your top 2 shooters shoot under 40% for the game you better have other guys stepping up. Trey and Naji took the next most shots and while they were more efficient than BI and CJ, they were still not good, around 42% each.

I've been banging the drum on bringing in an OC for a while, because the solution to your top 4 shot takers shooting poorly isn't giving 1 guy 10 more minutes, unless they would actually let Kira play PG in those 10 minutes to try and generate easy shots for everyone else. But Kira is largely playing off ball because he's next to BI in the minutes BI is supposed to "take over" with CJ on the bench.

They didn't shouldn't be unbeatable and they weren't, we were up 4 late.

But I wouldn't call it an excuse to say we weren't expected to win that game as we were without our best player as well a 5 guys total from our rotation. I didn't expect to win that game, was just hoping we would.
