Not in his league? BI torched KD this season and KD is still considered a top 5 player by most.

Recency bias is a real thing, it seems.

But, for the record, again, it’s a good problem to have.

10 offensive rebounds to our 4

hell does our offensive rebounding have to do with what i said? people are saying we lost due to giving up offensive rebounds, and that's just simply not the case. if you can hold phx to just 10 o-rebs (under their season avg), you did your job

this is hilarious and tells me you just might be a phoenix fan. we just controlled FG%, FT%, 3P%, rebounding, assists, and you wanna post "control what you can control" we just out-played phoenix at their house despite booker having prob a top 10 game of his career and lost due to the refs and you wanna say control what you can control my guy is no doubt a suns fan. cant think of another explanation

Zion gets fouled harder on every shot than basically every Pels foul in the game.

BI is my favorite player but Zion is definitely better. I am glad we have both.

It takes a lot of energy to play the way he has to play. He has to work so hard to get to his spots while getting hacked. If the league keeps allowing this type of defense on him, Willie needs to get creative with the offense to find ways to put Zion in scoring positions off ball. He's not getting anything easy at all and the target on his back is ridiculous.

Bro your melt is embarrassing. We are all Pels fans here, but you are sounding like a legit pussy blaming the refs. The ft disparity was due to 3 things

1) We couldn’t guard Booker
2) Their offensive rebounds lead to more fts
3) We fouled multiple times at the end of the game to extend the game

look ive read lots of your posts on here and usually you come across as intelligent, but you really couldn't be any more wrong here

yes booker had a great game, but again part of that was cause dude was lowering his shoulder and running over pelicans and being awarded for it. im not saying he didnt deserve any calls tonight, but for him to shoot over double the FTs that zion shot tonight while zion was getting fouled nearly every time he attacked the paint, yes the refs deserve blame.

and idk how many times you gotta read this, but they got ten (10) o-rebs. that is LESS than their season average. that is a nice job by the pels. that has nothing to do with phoenix (a mostly 3-pt shooting team) shooting twenty-two (22) more FTs than the pelicans who lived in the paint tonight like most games

and even taking off the intentional fouls at the end, it was no where near an evenly officiated game. im really not sure how you dont realize that unless you're just secretly a suns fan

Man I love watching the Pels but refs makes the game unwatchable. There is no way Booker should shoot more free throws than the whole Pels team combined. A team with Zion Williamson shoot 13 free throws. Zion will never get the chance to have a huge scoring night because the refs will never give him the calls.

No we didn’t. You let ole boy slap a 58 burger on ya, we played careless ball when it mattered on both ends of the floor and lost the 2nd chance point battle going away

Control what you can control. You we weak with that attitude bubba, and no doubt rode pine for Jprd with that mindset. Malcom Robinson def had you carrying the bag of balls to games

To be fair.

The Pels are constructed and designed to get to the FT line as a game strategy. When they don’t get to the line then that sucks. It should mean the refs are calling a looser game. Instead they called a loose game on the Pels side and a tight game on the Suns side. It is one thing for the Pels to lose the FT advantage. You could just dismiss that as some home court bs; however, a giant disparity like that should not be possible against the Pels due to their style of play and game plan.

ohhhhh so you are a suns fan. i feel like your posts might be better received over on arizonasportsfans.com

points out we lost the 2nd chance points but no mention of how we won fg%, 3pt%, ft%, rebounds, assists, pts in the paint gOiNg AwAy, etc

we did control what we could control. and we deserved to win based on what we could control. unfortunately, the refs were out of out control and had other plans

They scored 30 points off extra possessions, Pels lose by 4. This is where games are won and lost. Control what you can control and you win this ballgame

Can’t believe we didn’t run offense through Jonas more. No Ayton and he’s cooking in the first. He
got two shot attempts the rest of the game. He needs to be there to mitigate Zion’s energy throughout the game, especially when BI is out. Zion needs the relief to stay effective on both sides and the way this coaching staff operates baffles me more often than not.

That’s wild. He’s better than he was in the playoffs, a time where the league narrative accepted him as a superstar.
