It’s so fricking important to get some more shooters and creators.

I’d almost say trade Graham for Huerter and draft Johnny Davis or Mathurin as guys that can just flat out score.

it isn't just Trey. CJ and BI seem to yell at whoever is running the 3 whether it be Herb, Naji, or Trey but I will admit that Trey seems a little lost out there on offense and defense (but Jax always looks lost)

Could we upgrade Graham with Jordan Clarkson?

People really let a box score +/- convince them Trey is the key to this series.

Actually watch Trey on the court. He's scared out of his mind out there. They were screaming at him to move around tonight. He gets out there and literally freezes in the half court.

I know they have to account for his shooting, but not all rookies are ready to actually contribute in these level games.

This is a good point.

I don't know how many mins trey is averaging for the series but he does stand around on offense.

You do need his shooting and he has been active on defense.

Just like the series against the Lakers in 2011.

Hornets get a split to open the series in L.A.

Lakers get home court back with a game 3 win.

Lakers arse blast the Hornets in Nola in game 6.

I think it’s more he at least provided a legit threat offensively and is good enough defensively. Jax hardly is ever doing anything, Graham belongs in China. Naji is not good enough

It’s more so the other guys who are taking his minutes that aren’t good enough than people overhyping is abilities

It's tough seeing shooters in a slump...that's why watching Curry is so damn impressive

Jose is shooting much better than CJ in this series
Sure but CJ still has infinitely more gravity than jose, and that's important too.

There were a few times in game 4 that he had the ball with a path into the lane and took two dribbles and looked very quickly to hand it off. Doesn’t have that mentality yet. It will come with time. Good exposure early.

We find legit replacements for Hayes, Naji and Graham…we’re a top 2 seed

Trey doesn’t give you much on offense because he can’t dribble the ball. Either he shoots or he has to find ways to relocate. Either by cutting or finding space. It’s gotten to the point where both BI/CJ would ignore Murphy.

I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing some designed plays to get Trey open from deep.

The key? No.

A better option than Jaxson Hayes? Very, very obviously.

Bridges absolutely dominated us today defensively. Dude carried his team on both sides

Hell of a game by bridges.

He was so quiet game 4.

Exactly. Trey has flaws and he’s a rookie. But he gives effort on D and he’s not scared to pull the trigger. Even if he misses, he lets that bitch fly.

Clarkson is just a chucker, not a fan.

I wish Trey had a knack for movement shooting. It doesn’t seem like he’s quite there yet.

He does at least space the floor. Teams need to worry about him. Helps with BI and CJ driving to the rim. Jax, Graham, Naji aren’t giving you that.
