If they learned anything it’s that they can’t play Nance on Ayton. It’s got to be Jonas.
What?

Ayton owned Jval's more than anyone.

Nance played him better than Jval, no doubt. Though neither were good.

They went 4/26 from 3pt... and still won.

The Pels gave 40+ points to Ayton and Magee. That is atrocious.

If Willie didn’t know he was going to run the pick in roll with CP3 the 4th he must be on serious drugs. He plan with him for fricks sake

Willie knew exactly what the frick they were going to do down the stretch. CP3 executed. That’s all.

If they are gonna need Ayton and JV to score 40+ to win 2 more games, I think we have a much greater shot at that.

Jonas plays for the Suns now?

We didn’t shoot much better. Our stats are inflated by BI making a few late wild ones

Stop, it was a great effort, we came up short against a team better than us.

This. I think we need a reality check as a fan base. I know we have a chance to win this series, but we’re still young and without our best player versus a time that was in the finals last year.

So benching Jval didn't kill us at all is what you're saying.

I don’t know. It was tied or one possession when he came out so it definitely didn’t help.

a. This board underrates Ayton. He can be a 25 ppg scorer on a team where he's the #1 option.

b. The refs/NBA are CLEARLY protecting Ayton at all costs.

The refs set the tone. Throwed Jax out, call every flop for Crowder.

The issue is his defense on the pick-n-roll. He never steps out to defend the ball...he just backs up and let CP shoot practice shots and hopes he misses.

While true we knew this going in

The real issue is Jval being a complete non factor on offense to offset this

He did tonight. He may as well. He’s too fricking slow and awkward to defend the pick and roll.

This, yes we have a great one-two punch but we also have to rely on A LOT of young inexperienced guys. Meanwhile the suns entire lineup is experienced and have seen it all. When you need to ask a lot out of 3 rookies in playoff time, it’s not going to be easy to win an entire series. The fact that our guys have played so well so far is pretty impressive

You need to chill. It’s a miracle we’re even here

The Suns are better. We are a few pieces away but that doesn’t mean we won’t be a top 4 seed next year. Enjoy the run

CP3 makes Ayton. Why pay him when someone cheaper can do the same thing with CP3?
