Disagree. First in the west before the clusterfrick means something.

It means that Zion is really fricking good when healthy in spite of the idiocy around him.

Negative.

They do need to bring in an offensive mind though, bring Finch back to run the offense once Minnesota cuts him loose.

You guys are reactionary morons. Willie Green is good at connecting to players, which is huge in this era. You don't throw that away because he's bad at Xs and Os

There’s bad at X’s and O’s and this cluster of offense and defense we’ve run out the last 25 games. Even with Zion the offense was clear out and let Zion drive into 3 people and make an incredible finish. Who knows maybe if we run an actual offense he stays healthy.

I can’t remember the last time we got the benefit of a questionable call.

on the bright side, we should probably be down 20+ with how horrendous we're playing so only 9 at half is fortunate to say the least

We need to bring in an offensive mind as an assistant

This team just isn’t even fun to watch anymore. All the momentum around the team with the city is gone.

Phil Jackson is considered one of the better coaches in history. He handled the motivation and managing personalities and others handled the Xs and Os. There are very few head coaches that are good at it all, and those guys aren't coming here.

Scoring less than 50 points in a half would be a shameful display in 2004... In 2023, it's laughably pathetic.

JRich has been screwed with techs the last few games. He’s taken all the refs hatred away from Herb it seems like.

Yup, the head coach should be someone players love and knows game management and player management.

The assistant coaches should be the X’s and O’s guys. This is one reason I questioned the Jaron Collins lead assistant hire, I was hoping for Sam Mitchell

Can we exhume Tex Winter's body and put him on the bench?

Motivation seems to be lacking though. Feels like these guys won't wake up and play with the type of effort and intensity needed until they're staring at 10th place in the standings.

I don't think it's a lack of motivation. I think it's a lack of confidence since Zion went down and they lost 10 straight. Not sure how they get that back.

Yup. Nobody can hit shots, even wide open 3’s are clanking. Defensively they've been locked in, that’s the side of the court that tells you whether it’s motivation or confidence.

We need a center who doesn't duck when an opponent goes up into the air to dunk the basketball.
