I think it's so funny we have members on here born and raised in Louisiana that openly root for the Lakers. It's pathetic and sad. They cover up their internal sadness by coming on here or going on Twitter and act like entitled brats worshipping their LeBum, and trash us for some reason. Like I don't get it, you're from Louisiana why are you trashing and shitting on people FROM your state that ARE ROOTING for the city to succeed

It’s always cute people trying to rep their social credit posting on the internet
Anyways, lots of friends in this league that don’t go 25% in the second half on 4 points and 4 turnovers, blow a game, and care so little that they are more concerned with bro-loving the teammate that abandoned him than showing some leadership and loyalty to the team/city he has been asked to lead/represent.

Dude idc about your life story. Nor do I care about you or exchanging fisticuffs. I’m drunk and pissed off because I wanted this game more than the other 18 or so we’ve played.

Maybe it's because the sport isn't as physical but man that just tells you everything you need to know about how this team functions minus a Rondo or even a Boogie pre injury. If you aren't pissed about losing. Especially in that fashion, what are you even playing for

That second half was a hot pile of garbage.
5/19 3s, 6/20 2s, 11/39 overall. Jrue may have had as many turnovers as points in 2nd half.
And the paint all game? I think I last saw 60-26 Lakers.

Nah.
He had a young team around him that he has been tasked to lead, that just took a heartbreaking loss, several that really wanted this win and you could tell. And he was out there high fiving the guys that for many of them, literally were trashed by these two people and Jrue chose to bro love with AD then concern himself with his own team.
That is a scar on his leadership, a legitimate question about his competitiveness. Full stop.

The team probably views him and a nice big brother type of guy. But I don't know how, especially after what we all just saw anyone can consider him a alpha. I'd be disgusted if I was his team mates. Dude do that shite in hall after the game or before you leave for home. It's just a terrible thing to do in front of a gut wrenched fan base.

That probably sounds right.
And tbh, it was sort of clear that before this season Jrue was handed the reputation of a leader more than he was one. As I remember the interviews about how AD, Cousins, and others were always giving him a hard time about some of the more eccentric aspects of his personality, and having to push him to actually be himself on the court. Beta AD pushing our supposed alpha Jrue.
Couple that with Griffin mentioning Reddick as his go to example of veteran leadership early in this season, not so much Jrue.
I hope Griffin sees it as well, but Jrue is not resigning here without a major overpay, he is gonna chase AD or something and we would be wise to anticipate that.

The David West avatar days. You need to bring it back.

I think the only way he can help this team moving forward is as a trade chip. He's a great player when he wants to be but ultimately he just doesn't do enough to contribute to winning. And he has zero intangibles aside from being a gentleman. I'm not saying he's overpaid but he can't be a part of the core moving forward. I'd much rather just get from under the contract by the deadline. I don't need to see him play with Zion personally.

Im SO open to trading Jrue Holiday. Zero pride. Dude could care less about playoffs. But only if Alvin goes with him. We need a fresher start than what we got.
